There is already opportunities for the SEC Network to support everything the LHN does for each member in the SEC.
think they will actually keep the LHN channel alive just renaming it SEC Network 2 or something.. I don't see them letting the channel go dark, they probably will be able to get it on xfinity and any other carriers
it won't be an exclusive channel for us..it'll be shared with the rest of the conference (content).. although it would be cool to put the regional teams out west on there exclusively.. but I have a feeling they'll be putting those games on ESPN/ESPN2/ABCIt'll be turned into an ESPN+ channel for tejas. That's literally all the LHN is anyway.

ESPN+ and The University of Oklahoma Announce Multi-Year SoonerVision on ESPN+ Agreement
ESPN+ and the University of Oklahoma announced today a multi-year agreement for SoonerVision on ESPN+ that will include more than 100 annual live events, studio programming and archival content. ESPN+ will stream one regular season college football game and the annual Oklahoma spring football...espnpressroom.com
That's what the ESPN+ deal is.
LHN broadcasted all the mens baseball games and quite a few basketball games too. In addition to the tennis, volleyball, track events, golf, swimming, etc eventsDifference with SEC Network is that you get all of those Sap stories from history that no one watches, the different talk shows, and all of the Olympic sports no one watches lol.

yeah i'm sure every school will have a section that has their content.. I was thinking about taking the current cable channel of LHN and broadcasting more SEC events.... so there would be 2 SEC Network channels on cable/satelliteOklahoma's ESPN+ deal is literally the LHN.

Oklahoma would never have inked that deal if either ...........
1) ESPN is planning to create a + channel for every SEC school.
or
2) Oklahoma has no intention of actually joining the SEC.
ESPN+ already has a deal to stream 1 OOC game for each SEC school.

BTN already has two.
If games overlap they just start the newest one on the other channel until the first game is over, then they move it.
That would seem excessive. Especially considering a school like Vandy with a small number of fans.
SEC does same thing with SEC Alternative. They only use it for Football games and sometimes Basketball.
If there is even a whiff of special treatment for Texas in the SEC it will eventually turn into something that stinks to high heaven and everyone will be complaining. Texas will have to be above suspicion (like Caesar's wife) if they intend to thrive in the SEC.Yeah, I saw it when I had Cox cable years ago.
That's why I question whether they'll make it 3 with the LHN transitioning.
I expect they'll just pull the plug and tejas goes to the SEC Network with an ESPN+ channel like everyone else.
