Old school Oakland A's fan, but this is pobably the biggest play since it was in World Series versus the Big Red Machine and Series went 7. Joe Rudi catch.

I agree on the Eckerskey homer. Gut punch for A’s fans.

For the White Sox, I'd say the 1919 World Series i.e. the Black Sox.
For the Giants, I'd argue Bobby Thomson's "Shot hear 'round the world"
For the Rays, Game 4 of the 2020 WS, Phillips hit to CF and two Dodger errors let them score2 and win

I consider the Black Sox to be more than a moment.

I’d say more people today know about the Mays catch than The Shot Heard Around the World.

I’ll take your word on the Rays, but it’s hard for me to say anything from 2020 is gonna be any team’s most iconic moment

Good list. Good choice for the Cards. Hard to choose on the Cards though, so many iconic moments. Lots of championships and that's what champions do.

With all of the attention that's been given to illegal sign stealing lately I'm surprised that Thomson's HR doesn't get brought up more often.

I haven’t heard the background, were the Giants stealing signs? If so, good on them for doing anything they could to keep the Dodgers out of the WS.

But I consider the Thompson homer about the same as the Fisk homer. Was really not all that significant since in both cases, the team lost the WS. And I always thought the Thompson homer was so famous because of the radio call that went with it

The HR is certainly a memorable moment anyway, I wasn't mentioning the sign stealing to take away from that. Just surprised that it wasn't mentioned more during the recent mess. Telescope out behind center field.

It was cool for them, and to see the Dodgers make two errors on one play.

I can see your point on the White Sox, but it still looms over them.

Could the Giants be Madison Bumgartner Game 7 epic relief appearance versus Royals in Game 7 2014 World Series?
