Georgia is gonna pass Tennessee and USC on the all time wins list this year.
So I'll change that when it happens.

I like people who are ahead of the curve. Are proactive about things instead of just letting things pass them by before reactingSo I'll change that when it happens.
Now you look at the B1G footprint and tell me which one has a recruiting area even remotely close to say Louisiana? Florida? Georgia? Alabama?Even prior to Alabama being good, the SEC had a 3-in-a-row National Title Run with Florida/LSU. There are other teams definitely carrying the league.
You have to go back to ancient history to find someone in the B1G doing anything on the national scene not named Ohio State. Maybe USC can help you guys out if they can get things turned around.
That doesn't change the Central, which would still have zero of the top programs in their division, unless you think it is the 90's still and want to count Nebraska. Then flip it with Michigan State, if you're too much of a pussy.
I am just busting their bubble (and probably trolling a little) that they are a Financial Powerhouse of a league but not a Powerhouse on the Field.
Sadly, the leagues they are poaching such as ACC and Pac12 have actually been more competitive on the Football Field than the B1G but credit to B1G fanbases, they are loyal and bring $$$$.
So all the fans on these boards should pat them on the back for keeping the B1G afloat despite the fact it has been a one-team league this Millenia.
Which curb you talking about?I like people who are ahead of the curb

It is as if SEC fans think they have some secret formula that wins them championships. I will give you a hint -- Nick Saban took a MSU team who was .500 and in 4 years -- they were still a .500 MSU team. He finally won 8 games in a year and couldn't wait to get out and go to LSU. Why? All the recruits. Same reason Brian Kelly left ND. Same reason OU's coach left for USC.
College football is ALL about location. The best teams are located in the richest recruiting areas. Almost all of the richest recruiting areas are in the SEC footprint. It isn't rocket science in today's game.
Who has poached the ACC?
Sure they'd like to, but that seems to have ended after the Big 10 grabbed Maryland and that GOR was put in place to prevent it from happening again.

Already edited.I think you mean 'ahead of the curve'
That's right up there with 'Mine as well'.
You answered your own question.
The B1G and SEC ain't that stupid. A glorified SEC / BIG tourney isn't getting no where near the views as to what is March Madness today. The ACC has a shot to get their shit together before 2036 but they are going to need to figure out some additional revenue streams or the arms race will past them by.
Miami
FSU
Clemson
VT
All have the opportunity to be great programs they are just going to need to step up fast and Clemson has to maintain. There can still be a P3 but it’s going to take some new leadership and commitment from the schools.
The massive danger to the ACC is if the B1G and SEC decide to control post season basketball (which people will go nuts when I say that) and they will have the power/money to do it. They can simply form their own tournament played between the two. It would kill March Madness and split the country into two camps but they could do it. Probably would be worth at least 250 million to each conference.
Ha, not even close. Atlanta is a UGA town. 2nd by Bama/Auburn/ClemsonSeems harsh until you realize GT plays in Atlanta.
These teams don't move the needle as far as landing a bigger TV contractI’m curious as to why the ACC & Pac12 aren’t taking teams from the G5’s and the FCS with all of this happening.
The ACC adding any of App St., ECU, ULL, Liberty, Memphis, Navy, WKU, etc. would work. So would any of AFA, BST, USU, either/both of the SDSU’s, UMT, NDSU, etc. to the Pac12.
No, it’s not like adding USC or ND but it’s better than nothing and it would help to stay afloat (I think).
Or do their commish’s/board members just not give a shit?
You missed the word "after"
I'm just enjoying a bit of smack talk against conference foes ... note the self-depreciation humor I included.I am just busting their bubble (and probably trolling a little) that they are a Financial Powerhouse of a league but not a Powerhouse on the Field.

But now about the substance of the post, rather than the style...
Just let life pass you by. SadThe substance was I'll change the programs when it happens.
Until then, get back on the curb.
Georgia may pass Tennessee and USC in total wins, but not in winning percentage.
I never said anything about the Alliance so I am not sure it was relevant to my post.
Good try though.
BIGW is Sunbelt level at football.
The Maryland move was before the ACC GOR.
They'd never made that move with the current ACC GOR in effect.
Hence me using the word 'after'
So again, who has poached the ACC since Maryland left and the GOR was installed? You're the one that said the ACC is being poached.
I get your point and agree but what does that have to do with my post? B1G still poached from ACC in the past and is under speculation to getting poached again.
