USC and UCLA planning to leave for B10 by 2024!

I think they'd probably zip to 24 if GT got added. They don't want to give the SEC an angle to snatch Clemson, UNC, Virginia. It'll be in a package, imo. Stanford is likely if ND has the leverage people seem to think they do, imo.
The more ACC teams that get an invite to B1G and SEC, the closer we are to making GOR go away. They need 7 or 8 to bolt I guess, not sure about ND status on it.

Once they reach that threshold, the ACC is over and teams move to new conferences.

I wonder if this is all due to ND having a clause in the ACC contract where they must join the ACC if they join any conference. Now they want out and the best way to do it is to make all the dominoes fall.

Stanford would help the USC/UCLA situation by giving them another opponent that is closer than Nebraska.

That last part is my suspicion. ND wants to jump but language makes it difficult to do it in a cost effective way.

I don't see any of these ACC teams going anywhere fast due to GOR. However, they may announce early like OU and Texas to try to sow chaos and hope to break up the ACC

ND deal with NBC expires in '25.. I think the BiG would foot the bill for their other sports to leave the ACC.

But like others have mentioned.. ND publicly states they are intending to leave in the future, that my get other ACC schools to also begin looking around, could then break the GOR if enough find better deals elsewhere

Maryland-UCLA*

Lefty Driesell once said he wanted to turn Maryland into the east coast UCLA. well now their football program has their chance

Only way is for numerous teams to have offers on the table, communicate with each other about it, and vote to dissolve the GOR and the ACC all in one fell swoop

I'm just glad we won't have to see Charbonnet run for 200+ yards against us

That is my thoughts. Sometimes I wonder if SEC and B1G are actually working together to create new order instead of against each other.

You a funny guy. (Roll the tape)

LSU is #11 in most polls (I have even seen them as high as 10 ahead of Tennessee in some) while Wisconsin is typically in the 20s. So I would have to agree with him:

I think it a reasonable theory. The only quibbling is probably over who gets UNC.

look i hate to use this term.. but you are an idiot if you think that WI isn't ahead of LSU.. WI is more consistent with wins..yes they will never win the big enchilada...or even compete for one in a CFP.. HOWEVER they won't have a losing season like LSU did in 2020..

So LSU can have it's two BCS titles and CFP title.. the real winners who get to take home the prom queen and fuck her are the ones that finish .500 or better!!!!!

ESPN will have the most influence I would think when it comes to WHO they want in the SEC.. It's like a cold war is brewing in CFB
