Where to start?
I'll start with an example to show just how much I was wrong. Let's try this
"Look over there, it's a duck"
you look over there and there is a horse standing there. However much difference there is in a duck and a horse, I was even more wrong about Lake Charles. That place has exploded. I drove around for a couple of hours and just about everything has changed. Most of the old was gone and new put in place. Where there was open fields, there was condos, apts. and business stacked high. There was almost nothing that hasn't been changed. Lake Charles has finally grown up.
1995 was a long time ago, and with the 3 major hurricanes going thru there, I guess they used that to finish getting rid of the old and replace it with new. It was for sure, shocking. Don't know when or if I'm going back, but it was an eye opener.

I went to the Gulf of Mexico, down to Lake Charles, Louisiana and I saw Bessie-girl. Didn't talk to her tho. Ol Bessie is like the rest of us from that time, Done got old and worn down. She's not like sweet sweet Connie, she's still alive and kicking.
