TV Series The Terminal List

Can’t argue about Pratt but watch Spiderhead on Netflix and Pratt > Hemsworth (which isn’t saying much). These Marvel leads are struggling outside of the Marvel Universe.

I would still argue the actual writing on TL was better than the other two and with a different lead to sell it the overall product would be better.

I actually thought Hemsworth was good in Spiderhead and he got quite a bit of praise for it. Overall though youre right, Hemsworth is absolutely nothing special.

Him and Pratt both mostly have a schtick and if you venture outside it with depth for either of them its not gonna go too well.

Actually it is an auto win.

Wrong again.

I’m going to give TL a ton of credit also by trying to make the action as realistic as possible and being dedicated to detail on how the seal teams operated. There were very few “that is complete BS“ moments in this series then you typically see. Also a ton of credit of how he killed the sicario because that was unique and absolutely brutal.
My only problem was the shotgun in the mexican scene. I don't think anyone chooses that weapon.

Book was really good. Author has been on Rogan a couple times.

Was pumped for this series, 4 episodes in and think it’s decent

Wild Turkey and me
vs you and the guy who wants to change every aspect of every professional sport and comes up with a goofier idea each time.

I like my side.
Me: I don’t think form tackles should get you kicked out of the game just because the runner ducks to your level. They didn’t used to do that.
YOU: YOU WANNA CHANGE THE GAME LIKE CRAZY

Me: I don’t think a fumble through the end zone should end up in a change of possession.
YOU: YOU WANNA CHANGE THE GAME LIKE CRAZY

ME: Make the pitchers step off the rubber when picking off runners so lefties don’t get an advantage and we eliminate the real dumb balk and non-balk judgment calls.
YOU: YOU WANNA CHANGE THE GAME LIKE CRAZY

Me: Take away the three point line. It wasn’t here originally. The game has evolved into chucking the ball, and we’re missing many more important aspects of the game.
YOU: YOU WANNA CHANGE THE GAME LIKE CRAZY.

You’re just a status quo warrior. That’s all. Just like everyone else. You’re just a dull minded simpleton who can’t make on-point arguments.

YOU: “I like my side.” Fucking dunce.

He was awful.

1. It was bad casting he didn‘t fit the roll
2. He overacted in every scene to the point it being painful
3. Everyone else literally acted circles around him

1 and 2. Disagree but ironically why I think he was good is that it was basically the same role as Thor just a jackass and a darker

3. 100%. Teller and Smollett are far superior actors.

One scene that really POPPED for me was when Pratt was breaching the senators home and as he was going up the stairs and changing his sight lines, he would change his grip on his gun from righty to lefty. Small thing, but something I had never noticed in one of these shows before, and the second I saw it, I KNEW it was a legit tactic. It just made sense.

There are a bunch of those and it made the show fun. My daughter is watching it now and she is literally just a month from having gone through training to clear rooms and such with Seal instructors. She loves the show and would nitpick it if it wasn’t right.

maybe as a secondary weapon...
