It’s a totally serviceable summer movie. Turn off your brain and have fun. It’s not in the top 80% of MCU films though, and I wouldn’t see myself voluntarily watching it again.

And yes, the check the box gay agenda pandering is off putting because it’s ham fisted and unnecessary (and contradicts Waititi’s own prior film).

Black Widow, Shang-Chi, Eternals, Spider-Man 3, Doctor Strange 2, Thor 4, plus likely all upcoming MCU films, all banned from Chinese theaters.

Pretty sure they're not making these films for this Chinese market that they can't enter.

The first 2 acts are horrible. Almost to the point of walking out.

But the final act was supurb. The comedy fit the story, good action, character arcs finished successfully and the baddie was dealt with appropriately.

But boy-o-boy, getting there is a chore.

Still attractive, sure. But given that she was arguably the hottest thing on the planet for a while there, she has not aged well.

Jennifer Anniston and Goldie Hahn are probably the best examples of women who held on to their absolute hawtness well into “old age”.

Don’t disagree. But she is 53 And still VERY doable. IIRC, Hawn was hot into her mid-50s or so as well.

At some point, it just goes away. No stopping that. No matter who you are.
