Sark after Dark???

Hmmmm saw this on twitter.. Could be plausible..or not

he also says they would actually pay more per school than what they pay the ACC for their 3rd tier rights

just finished watching the new commish Q and A.. He said they were going to be hipper and cooler a few times in there.. Also said that he doesn't start til the 1st.. whenever they asked him about UT and ou

says he wants a win/win for UT and for the Big12.. he's open to negotiations

But for the most part, he's all about branding..

About expansion...he emphasized the need for any addition to be additive and not dilutive. I think that's smart. They're in a good position to pick up some good brands as the realignment fallout continues. There's no need to find the first 4 schools that will say yes. That's why I didn't understand their rush to try to bring in Colorado or Arizona.

That's what they have to do ... how do you make the new B12 cool and fun to watch.

All that was missing was the theme song from Rhinestone Cowboy playing in the background.

They need to end the PAC before the PAC ends them was the thinking there. Also I know this is about football but Arizona basketball is a nice addition. But this seems all moot. It feels like no PAC team will jump to the B12 unless they have to and they really don’t have to at this time.

Hopefully we pick off a couple. Say Arizona State and Utah. And then we pick up Oregon and Washington when they break down and tell the rest to fuck off. And then we get something like Miami NC State and Louisville and call it good. That's a Big 3 conference that doesn't make Big 2 money but keeps our schools close enough that we are all in the discussion when the big break happens.

1) ACC teams aren't paying that GOR
2) Oregon and Washington could join the Big 12 but I've heard people on ESPN say a move to the ACC is more likely. I think UO/UW would move to the Big 12 if the Big 12 offered them more flexibility with the GOR.

There was an article that said that the future hinges on ESPN. Does ESPN give them a good payout to keep them going.. or do they low ball them so that 4 schools migrate towards the Big12.. ESPN could gladly pay that and pocket the money it would have had to spent to keep the PAC alive.

They don't think Fox is a big player, they are all in with the BiG

They just want to sleep with them a few years, not marry 'em?

ESPN has thrown away money before in order to get what they want. No?

Here's a good bar bet: How many Lincoln Riley recruits ever became All-Americans?

Answer: Zero. OU never had a Muleshoe-recruited All-American.

In the short term, UO and UW want flexibility. If they aren't given that luxury, they will probably create a western wing in the ACC. It could work out for the Big 12 though. Give UO/UW flexibility in the short term and they may keep them in the long run

Who are we kidding. Like I said, they just want to sleep with 'em a while, not be committed to marriage. If the B1G and SEC came calling, they'd drop the Big 12, ACC or PAC 12 in a New York minute. So would any other school.

Like the new LIV golf tour. They'll pay certain "players" a ton of money regardless of performance.
