LOL bro Steve Patter$on was set on hiring Mora to replace Mack when he took over as AD
that was the darkest hour behind the scenes in Belmont.. Had the Gov of TX pushing out the UT President.. Had boosters going rogue talking to agents about coaches they represent.. Then you had Patter$on trimming "the fat" off positions and payrolls...
I do feel bad for Chuck.. I don't think he wanted this job but he had to take it because if he turned it down he felt it would be a terrible look for Black HCs in football.. what a mess.
Yeah, but we've got more idiots in Texas too.tejas has far more resources than everybody else.
Just ask them.
More money, more recruits, etc..
We said the same thing about Fulmer. No one hired Phillip Fulmer after we left. He actually tried to get on at Kansas (I believe) and was beat out by Charlie Weiss for the job.
how do you figure?rumor is that ESPN offered the PAC 28-32 mil per school for all 3 tiers of rights...OUCH
Good news @ralphiewvu I think this means ESPN is on board with the Big12.. I'm sure this will get the 4 corner schools to ask for an invite soon.. then they leverage that for Washington and Oregon
didn’t the Big Ten just add Rutgers?

I get that, but it should be higher than that with the programs they are bringing in.. I think it's something like 15mil sets.. right now the current PAC sets is like 13 or so.. both still trailing ACC who has 28 mil sets.how do you figure?
100% when OU and TX leave big 12 contract wont look any different
i think the overall will be near same but as it stands Big XII will be distributing across 12 and pac among 10. im just not sure those 4 new schools will be worth as much as you think they are.I get that, but it should be higher than that with the programs they are bringing in.. With SC and UCLA, the Pac is paying around 33 or so right? With UT and ou, the TV contract is paying 41 mil in the big 12.. I think whenever the dust is settled.. the Big12 probably still gets 3-5 mil more per school
But this is all a guess.
If they convert the LHN to a Big12 conference channel.. having it carried in FL, Ohio, Utah would add more value no? Then if they add the 4 corner schools, it may get picked up there tooi think the overall will be near same but as it stands Big XII will be distributing across 12 and pac among 10. im just not sure those 4 new schools will be worth as much as you think they are.
Well... He DID have a way with wringing the most money out of the CFB programs he was HC at, after he was fired!!Well Charlie Weiss clearly had a schematic advantage on his resume.
thats not the same discussionIf they convert the LHN to a Big12 conference channel.. having it carried in FL, Ohio, Utah would add more value no? Then if they add the 4 corner schools, it may get picked up there too
Nobody likes snitches....
I think the B12 is trying to negotiate with NBC. It might not mean much more but the more suitors the higher the price could go. Obviously it won’t be close to the big 2rumor is that ESPN offered the PAC 28-32 mil per school for all 3 tiers of rights...OUCH

SC plays in late October every year at ND. Not once had the weather permitted them from doing their game plan. They've lost at ND the last 5 times because they've sucked in large part, not because of the weather.
And rain is bad, regardless of the temperature for those types of teams. But it rains every month.
It's not that bad in early November. You're acting like it's in the mid-30's starting in mid-October. Lol.
maze&blew is just being his normal self with the mental gymnastics.
We've gone from the de minimis odds of playing in cold snow, to just playing in cold rain.
Even then, the late Nov game between USC/UCLA will be played in LA.
I know what happened. The B1G still CHOSE UCLA. Phil Knight and Oregon called the B1G too. The B1G CHOSE not to add Oregon or any other team at this point.
And I just heard this morning that the Big 12 is considering 4 PAC schools, none of them are Oregon. lol
