If Nebraska can't get to 9 this year -- they may want to see if the Pac or Big 12 are looking for a new member. North Dakota, Georgia Southern, OU in Lincoln with OU losing half their roster and a new coaching staff. Northwestern, Illinois, Minnesota, Rutgers, Purdue...........Michigan on the road and Iowa on the road are their two most difficult games. Wisconsin always plays them tough, but it is at home -- can they really lose a 9th straight time to them?
That is about as soft as their schedule can get, as even Michigan on the road is a huge question mark as we lost the top 6 or 7 guys on our defense, so UM could be a 3, 4, 5 loss team.
If that is still happening this year -- they need to get Scott Frost out the door immediately and bring in essentially anyone else. There is no excuse to not beat Illinois, Purdue, NW, etc. 80-90% of the time. Losing occasionally to them is understandable. Losing to them regularly is not.Nebraska has proven that NO schedule is soft. Until they prove that they can consistently beat the Illinois, the Purdue's, Northwestern's en sech, any team on the schedule is a losable game.

If Nebraska wins 5 games with the schedule they have -- they need to fire Scott Frost as soon as the final second ticks off the clock against Iowa. That'd be a new low for the Nebraska program.5 wins
@Northwestern W
UND W
Georgia Southern L should be W. Could be W. but right now thinking L
OU L
Indiana W
@Rutgers W
Purdue L
Illinois W
Minn L
@ Mich L
Wisc L
@ Iowa L
i like the optimism im just not sure where it comes from.If Nebraska wins 5 games with the schedule they have -- they need to fire Scott Frost as soon as the final second ticks off the clock against Iowa. That'd be a new low for the Nebraska program.
This is the 4th or 5th year with Frost? He has all his own recruits -- he has his own systems in place, players have had the chance to build off that. I'm not asking them to knock off Alabama or Georgia. They just need to beat the bottom feeders of the B1G. That shouldn't be a huge ask out of them.i like the optimism im just not sure where it comes from.
Fucking Ron Prince OWNED tejas lol4 of the last 5 have been coin flips though.
Interesting that K. State is 10-12 all-time vs tejas.

Yeah but they only have 4 of those on the schedule.This is the 4th or 5th year with Frost? If Nebraska isn't 8-1 or 7-2 after their first 9 games -- Scott Frost should be fired.Yeah but they only have 4 of those on the schedule.
Also i got georgia state and southen confused so thats a W
So outside of the 6 i said which ofIf Nebraska isn't 8-1 or 7-2 after their first 9 games -- Scott Frost should be fired.
OU is without a doubt a winnable game -- they had half their team leave in the transfer portal, they have a new staff and will be running a completely new offense and defense.So outside of the 6 i said which of
11-2 Oklahoma
9-4 Purdue
9-4 Minn
12-2 Michingan
10-4 Iowa
9-4 Wisconsin
do you see falling?
ill take the Purdue thing in fact i was on the fence on them anyway.OU is without a doubt a winnable game -- they had half their team leave in the transfer portal, they have a new staff and will be running a completely new offense and defense.
Purdue will be without their all-american WR David Bell, and at schools like Purdue, it isn't easy to replace that kind of talent, as well as their all-american DE, which I'm not trying to spell his last name. Nebraska should beat Purdue.
Minnesota is essentially a coin flip, but with it being in Nebraska -- Nebraska should beat them. Minnesota returns their QB for what seems like his 27th year at Minnesota and Ibrahim is back too at RB. They will be a solid team, but Nebraska should be beating teams like Minny 80-90% of the time, as they will have the more talented team.
The last 3 games is where they will have issues. If they can win 1 out of 3 -- That'd be good for them. Those are the teams Nebraska hasn't beaten since coming to the B1G though.
