"Buyer's Remorse" in Tampa Bay

Brady with SIX touchdown passes today!!!

alright... one of them was to a guy on the other team but still a helluva day!

Just watched a three minute synopsis on Youtube and the dude said he doesn't ever remember seeing such a performance by an OL or WR corps.

The offensive weapons on that team are the best in the league and there's no close second.

If that team had a QB like Justin Herbert? wow

No close second? Lol lets pump our brakes a lil' on the hyperbole

Name another team, top-to-bottom who has more offensive weapons. I'm not saying Tampa Bay has the best offense, but the weapons? No one can compare.

What metric are we using to measure how "good" of a weapon their skill players are?

Perhaps, the quarterback throwing them the ball? Hmmm? 😏

So you can't name another team with more offensive weapons. I didn't think so.

haha.

ok... but before we get started let’s get a few things clarified.

Chris Godwin did not play today. He was inactive.

Leonard Fornette did not play today. He was inactive.

Mike Evans suffered an injury in the first half that required him to go to locker room and miss a few series. He returned but was hobbling all around the field in obvious pain. It was evident on the short TD catch he made that was made possible by Brady scrambling. In fact, after making the catch Evans didn’t even celebrate because he was in obvious pain

OJ Howard left the game with a leg injury and did not return.

Lastly, Brady’s 5 TD passes went to 5 different receivers

I know! I’ve never seen an OL like that or a deeper WR corps! It’s truly a SB-or-bust team.

well, they have brady, so they certainly have one of the best of all time at qb. maybe you're right after all

not so far, he isn't
After four quarters they were talking about benching him.

He was so abysmally bad they were talking about "a revised role" for a guy they paid $50M.

He's a huge liability bailed out by an OL that gives him all damn day to throw to the most potent WRs in the league.

who's "they"?

Brady is approaching Pele status. World famous.

Hi-Yaa!

This thread hasn't aged very well. In the end, Brady's twilight stint with Tampa may end up better than Peyton Manning's with Denver. It's certainly possible that the result of winning a Super Bowl could happen, like it did with Manning.

With that offense? I certainly hope so! Super Bowl win or hang Brady!

Just imagine if Brady had had more “weapons” in New England instead of a pile of retreads. After Gronk and Deion Branch, the best receiver was... who- Wes Weller?
