Did you see how easy it was for us to move the ball when we got out of our own way? CLE Defense needs work. On the flip side, our defense was atrocious.

CLE has a stellar run game so they will win a lot. However I don't see it doing well in the playoffs, or even later in the season as teams start to scheme to stop the run as it becomes their identity. They have a 10 win team, success in the playoffs will be tough to come by.

I did watch the game and it looked like the Browns went to a prevent soft zone thing on defense.
Which didn't make sense to me.

Their running game is their bread and butter, I was impressed with the depth at running back, they didn't miss a beat.

Yeah they stopped blitzing in order to prevent the big play, but Dallas was able to get 12-15 yards per and moved things way easy. I didn't understand it at all. I honestly thought we were about to pull an ATL on them.

Dallas just needs to go hurry up the entire game. Dak seems to be the best when he is just let loose.

I would tell your guys to stop tripping over their dicks. But, if they are actually able to trip over their dicks....they do have that going for them :yes:

Well it's not like Dallas has an average offense. The wide outs alone can keep defensive coordinators up at night specially if they have young DB's.

It was a good game, Cleveland showed ( I think) they have turned a corner, Baker missed a couple throws there at the end to keep the ball out of Dak's hands.
 
Cleveland has a decent team but not quite yet ready for primetime.

Dallas on the other hand has shit on a stick on defense. Pathetic.
 
cleveland is finally doing what they should have been doing all along. run. and then run some more. and then use play action to keep mayfield from having to make plays. he is just not good under pressure and is not very athletic so once he leaves the pocket (which he does too often as it is), it usually doesn't turn out well.
 
Where is all the Brownie fans?
They haven't migrated over yet?

Or still passed out from Sunday when the Browns didn't give the game away

Cleveland defense is probably the biggest underachiever in the league the last two years.
 
Of course it needs work but they have a lot of injuries to their defense especially in the secondary. No excuses but still Dallas got most of their yards and points in the 4th. They only had 14 points through 3 quarters and about 200-250 yards...not too bad against one of the best offenses and short-handed. They need to play better with a lead and for a FULL 4 quarters. They have been forcing TO's which is huge plus when you don't have the depth or man power at this point. Their safeties are pretty awful.

Those LSU players cannot stay healthy. Greedy is always injured, Delpit out for season. Ward is another guy that seems to always be banged up. Mack Wilson has been out...LB's were already thin without him. DL can't stay healthy...it's been an awful year for injuries. Last year it was worse bc the offense was so bad the defense was on the field for long periods of time.
