^thats what a Korean co-worker told me.

Just like there is more prejudice towards dark skinned blacks vs. light. The darker skin skinned (all ethnicities) were historically field workers (read: poor), so looked down upon.

How old is your co-worker who told you this?
I'm not doubting you, I'm just curious, because it could reinforce what my GM told me as far as how different generations of Koreans view the Japanese.

He would never, not in a million years, put the Japanese above Koreans, but he did say his is the last generation to really have such bad feelings toward them.

She was early 30’s. She may have said Koreans are the top dogs but I probably changed it to Japanese just to knock her uppity ass down a peg.
