I don't get why OB was melting for Vasek.. Like he was always going elsewhere. The staff never pushed til late, they were trying to get Hunter Osborne, Jamal Brown, Shelby.. all who they miss/will miss.. Is it a blow? Sure since they haven't gotten any other edge prospect as of now but I don't get the meltdown that OB is doing.
Even on Surly, the only people who seem to be triggered are the Westlake/Lake Travis coalition of posters.
I watch the OB show on youtube and earlier this spring, they were describing Vasek as a solid floor guy, but now they act like we just missed on a can't miss prospect? lol. nothing like selling despair

Pure usual the kids sucks once he commits to your rival. I just hope texas can keep PK as long as possible.

Felt good about this. I feel pretty confident about 3 more in this class. Would be nice to get a surprise pick up though. Also, fighting off people for Keeley and Bowen.

Seems like Ronan Hanafin was more likely before but not so much now. Could still happen but there’s 3 more I think they’re definitely locked in on. Still would love M’Pemba but it probably is a reach.

Yeah, it's tough to say about Hanafin. Edwards, Minich and Love I feel pretty good about. M'Pemba is not looking likely, but you never know. Do you know how many kids we are taking?

Early Enrollee.. meaning he graduates HS in December and is able to enroll into UT in January, where he can begin winter workouts then prepare for the Spring season. It's good since he will be getting treatment on his knee

** This kid was the one I really wanted, of all the DE prospects in the state (Hicks is not a DE), he has all the physical tools. Dad played at Arkansas, older less talented brother is still in the NFL.. Mom played CBB.. But I get why they chose LA, the SC staff are all over his younger sister who is a stud in both volleyball and basketball.. terrific pickup by SC**
