Fubo was my favorite. They’re the only option that offers the local sports network that carry the Mariners and Kraken, other than Directv now or ATT stream or whatever they’re branding that as now, and that one was one of my least favorites. Fubo also had the option for Pac 12, but I didn’t have it.

Honestly, I tried them all, was a pretty early adopter with streaming TV, and it’s come a long way. Definitely perks, and a lot of cons too. I’ve gone full circle and am back on the cable, because it’s come so far you don’t really save money with it anymore.

Yes. Still have Comcast internet. Really the only option I have besides ATT or Verizon’s 5GUW. But I bought my own router so I’m not renting their equipment. And purposefully pay $50/month to avoid their 1TB data cap that’s normally on their internet. Which is why it’s $100. Without that I’d be paying $50.
I pay a few bucks shy of $200 for both cable and internet. If my bill from YouTube is going to be $165 a month I’ll be paying more (because I still need internet). I’m certainly not switching everything out to pay more For a streaming.

This is what I’m saying, same boat, Comcast is the only competent option available here, you’re gonna pay $90-$100 for just internet from them. Add on whichever streaming service you choose, all are $60+ now (you’re probably paying at least $70+ if you’re into sports), then whichever other entertainment apps you’re into… Why not just to back to paying $200 for cable and internet…

That is why I am still old, old school. Shit cut into my drinking budget too much. I hit the local pub when the Badgers are on streaming only and spend less than that. If other games ain't on broadcast, I don't watch them.
You are a better person then I. most of the reason I have and stick with cable is for live sports. Shit I bought ESPN+ a few years ago to watch WVU play Kansas in football, I’ve kept it ever since because we usually have a game if not two on there.

Cox internet, Roku devices/channel (free PAC channel) YouTube TV. Cable TV thru Cox was $230 and they wanted me to bundle with phone that I didn’t want or need - besides not wanting to pay more taxes on said phone. I had Nick & Disney Jrs for the grandkids here weekdays and Cox charged big time for that and the sports tier - now included with YT TV.

SMH yttv isn't $165 a month....it's $65 a month then you pay internet cost

I mistakenly saw $165. So $65 covers most channels or is a sports package extra?

Comcast, just paid my bill. A few bucks shy of $200. Thats starting to become my biggest utility bill.
Replace any extra boxes you have with a Roku. They don't recommend not using at least one box, but I have Rokus set up for my room and the basement TVs. There's an Xfinity stream app you can use on Roku to stream your TV service. I take that mofo with me on vacay too, works great.

Well That’d be another thing, I’d likely need peacock For some if not most LFC games but sometimes they are on NBC/USA which I imagine YouTube tv gets on even a standard package.

You can go look at exactly what channels they offer

Guess it depends on what your local prices are. But mine is solidly $165 every month now. Basically all I lost was Bally sports. And I was only slightly bummed about not having History Channel because I like that Alone show -- which ends up a year later on Netflix anyway.

Because it wasn't $200 for me. It was like $185 a month when I was on a 2 year special price. It jumped out of that to like $245, I bought my own modem to save $10/month in renting Comcast's. The other benefit is the $100 includes the unlimited data, which I didn't have for the $235 price. It would have been $285 with unlimited data. So I save about $70/month from what I was paying comcast, and was without unlimited data. So occasionally, especially during Covid, I was getting charged for going over the 1TB limit.

And the best part is that I can just add and drop things as I want to watch them. If you wanted HBO with comcast you had to call those ass holes and add it, then when you wanted to drop it you had to (again) call those ass holes. Not having to call comcast in the last 2 years, combined with the $70/month savings (probably more now days) it just so absolutely worth it.

As soon as the Verizon 5gUW is more consistent, I'm going to try and jump to that as my internet provider. Right now it's $25/month with no data caps with an existing phone plan. Then I'd have cable and internet for under $100

I get it, not knocking it. Comcast is a pain in the ass, but you can pretty much always get the special price if you don't mind dealing with them every couple years. And you don't really need to worry about the limit if you have cable and aren't constantly streaming HD.

That's what did it for me. THAT was the "new" special price they were offering me.

The data limit is extremely low for now days, especially with four people in the house who stream stuff. One Warzone update is like 1/12 of your total limit.
