How Many Scrub Night Games Does Your Team Play

I think it's fair to say that Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after are not scrub days.
Yeah, I changed that in the OP. The last week of the regular season doesn’t count. There are many rivalries that play that Friday and even that Thursday night.

I’m actually surprised they haven’t given they play 5 games vs the ACC yearly. A home ND game I would say will never be on a Thursday or Friday but an away game vs a struggling ACC team? I’m surprised it hasn’t happened.

When we've played a struggling team(Duke, VT last year), we get stuck on ACCN. I don't think we'll ever get a Thursday or Friday night game.

I don’t really think so ether but it Wouldn’t totally shock me given the amount of times the ACC plays (wether it be conference or OOC) on thursdays and fridays.

Looking at Bama’s schedule I count……12

Clemson checking in with the opener on a Monday. The one game I'm planning to go to :tsk:

You guys play @ Rutgers on a Friday.
How do they swing that??
Probably TV related because game is on FS1, if had been a Saturday game wouldve been BTN. Probably makes no difference for Rutgers as far as attendance but better for TV.

Well, to hear many tell it and the media outlets, if my team is playing in a night game, it is a scrub night game.

Pinto! Damn you are older than I thought!
Vega would also be acceptable

...but Pinto is a better example. With a Pinto, you could have an instant BBQ pitt at your disposal.

You Haven’t lived till you spend a Friday night in Piscataway
Whatever Hair Flip GIF

Zero this season. I don't think we've ever played a Thursday or Friday game come to think of it.
Yes you did. Opening Thursday night, against the Buckeyes, just last season

When commenting on the CFB Board, we = ND
When commenting on the CBB Board, we = Minnesota

Yes, it's weird. I wish I didn't like Minnesota in CBB because they suck, but it is what it is. Lmao.

Ah yes, the worst of both worlds!

after the Big Ten arrives to NBC, Friday night scrub night will be renamed "Notre Dame Fighting Irish Friday on NBC"

They have Ohio State playing Toledo at 7PM EST on FOX (The main network) for some reason. Must be a slow week.

Probably makes sense from Fox's perspective. I'm guessing Fox had the #1 selection that weekend given the slate of games, and picked OU vs. Nebraska. ABC/ESPN then picked Uconn vs. Michigan. At that point you're probably down to Colorado vs. Minnesota or your game. Any OSU game is going to out rate that game, even if its Toledo. Fox sticks it at 7:00 as a lead in to Fresno vs. USC. Honestly, pretty good slate on Fox that day:

Noon: #9 Oklahoma at Nebraska
3:30: #25 BYU at #11 Oregon
7:00: Toledo at #2 Ohio State
10:30: Fresno State at #14 USC
