Nebraska Cornhuskers The Official 10000 posts for a Husker Conference Championship

i don't disagree, but i think that will really tell if they've turned a corner. they should win all 3 games by a large margin like that, just like the teams they want to compete with. It will also give the 2nd/3rd teamers game experience which is something we are lacking.

i agree with Tom. I think a 56-7 win this year would go a long way to the mental psychy of the team. just knowing how to put it together against an inferior team. That was the problem so many times last year, stupid mistakes/penalties/turnovers/not finishing drives that led to losses against several teams.
I didn't say anything about 56-7.
In the current state of the program, I'll settle for a 7-6 win.

All I care about is beating NW by at least 1 point and everyone coming home healthy.
That is all that is needed. A W, and no injuries. On side note, need to see some improvement on special teams. Yes, the bar is low on that one. Plus, would like to see some creative play calling.

For so long, a day like today would elicit a " WOOOOOO! 3 days until Nebraska football kicks off the season!!
Today however, I'm sitting here thinking quietly "Fuck, 3 days until nebraska football kicks off the season. "
Fuck Steve Pederson.

im all sorts of torn, i want to see how nebraska looks, and at the same time im afraid to see how nebraska looks. Frosts opener record is shit and that alone is enough to give pause nevermind its a fucking conference game against a team that manages to beat teams they shouldnt every single year

Does it have a concrete structure like that?

I've only driven past it. Never actually walked around it.
Shoot I don't remember. It's been a long ass time since I have been there myself

If they beat NW 56-7 than we'd better be careful of heads-in-the-clouds, piss poor play, against North Dakota or Georgia Southern.

Just saying.
Look at the arms on these blackshirts! Zach Duval (a student of Boyd Eppley) must be doing something right!

That's fine for a LB, but I'm not seeing it up front.

Nebraska's been getting their shit pushed in up front for many a year.
Games are won in the trenches.
These are the guys puking 15-20 times per practice.

On the bright side, the last time I was this big of a naysayer was 1993 when the Huskers were an 18 pt dog to Florida State.

They lost (16-18) on a couple of bad calls, but that was where they finally turned things around going forward.

I’m more worried about what’s between their ears, too damned many offensive line drive killing penalties for way too long. On a side note, Frost says the team is confident, close knit, and had some of the best practices ever!

Can't say I'm not nervous. But damn, I'm feeling more optimistic seeing Mathis in this vid. Dude looks like he's going to wreck some people this year.
