We had a team member leave on Tuesday and I bought lunch for our team. Because it was 100$ (and I was getting reimbursed), I tipped them 10%. It was crazy busy when I went to pick it up, too, so I had no problem showing them some love.

But for a 7 dollar happy meal? TFOOH

It's built into the Toast app too.

So, I'm not only doing the job of the cashier/wait staff by placing my own order, but also the job of the delivery person as well.

But sure, here's 20% just for you being you.

Usually the wait staff still has to package a order to go, bag it, make sure the dips or sauces are there, utensils, and bag it up. I tip on To go orders, and the places that I go to, they know me, and my order is always correct, and has extra everything. I usually tip 5 to 10% on to go orders.

Yep. Nobody in food service makes any money, I don't have a problem tipping SOMEthing to show some appreciation when it's a big order.

The people that do the pu orders, seem to really appreciate the tip, even small tips... You can tell most people don't give them shit.

At some point, jobs should have baseline expectations that don't deserve tips. Participation trophy society.

Someone has to unload the trucks to put Ipads on the shelf at Best Buy, yet there's no tip box when you buy an Ipad.

10:46am HR Bitch: I see my 1x1 with your boss for tomorrow has recently now been declined. Is there a time in the near future where that can be rescheduled? I realize he's busy but its difficult for me to do my job without the time with him and its now been well over a month since our last 1x1

sorry. i'm just mad. he's HR, so doesn't report directly to my boss (CFO). If we're comparing parallel, he's -3 from the CPO (chief "people" officer/aka head HR bitch).
