Lawrence is a little further out from KC than a burb. Maybe 30-40 minutes? It also sucks and smells like hippies.
 
Coconut Creek is the only answer there.

I was gonna say Coconut Creek, FL but I was confoozing it with Coconut Grove, FL (South of Miami area) which I was actually thinking of where they used to have some CRAZY "bed races" back in the 90s...

I made tzatziki yesterday and I think I put too much garlic...even by my Gilroy standards! I even tried to mellow it out a little by soaking it in a little vinegar first. Beware, vampires!

It's so good. I got these pita that I really like so i made some for snackin' but i've never made it before...definitely need only 1 clove of garlic. Might have to go get more yogurt to dial it back a bit.

Also gonna try to make my own hummus today. I read that the key is to overcook the chickpeas with a little baking soda added to the water. I had the best hummus years ago at this restaurant in SF - it was sooo fluffy! This is what I'm hoping for.
