What about the 70's and early 80's...those teams were loaded on both sides of the ball...unreal talent and like now the only time the whole country got to see them was when they played Notre Dame and the Rose Bowl

I'm sure, but that early 2000's USC was probably the most talented team I've ever seen, compared only to maybe a couple of the Saban teams and the 2000's Miami teams.

Point is, this is NOT the most talent USC has ever had, and it's not even close.

I feel like Iowa does this every year. Struggles against an FCS opponent then goes on and wins 8-9 games

East Carolina kicker, missed the XP with 2 minutes left to tie, his defense saves him, he misses the game winning chance field goal. Doofers son, doofers.

Good to see a coach though in the sideline giving him a pep talk, mimicking the “talking” with his hands, probably tell him people are going to talk shit but he needs to man up and move on.

They were terrible on offense last year.

They look worse this year.

Last year they had I think 27 interceptions, the next closest team in b1g had 16.

Let's say they referred to 16, that's 11 less short field opportunities for an anemic offense.

Now I've seen Iowa enough to know they'll win ugly still but I have hard time seeing this team get more than 8.


And if MN can't get over ia hurdle this year, they just might never .....
 
East Carolina for the missed extra point. Someone needs to put that kicker on suicide watch.
