Defenseless player is ANY contact to head or neck area. I guarantee if Nebraska was the same exact way but defense we get the penalty called on us because textbook says

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I've generally had positive interactions with Nebraska fans and we both hate Iowa so there is that.

Nebraska has wide range of fans. I still remember in 2013 when MN was first getting back to mediocrity and beat a top 25 Nebraska team. We stormed the field and everything .

Nebraska fans at that time were a bit condescending, congrats on win, cool you were there, you'll be able to tell your grandkifs about the one time you beat Nebraska...etc.

They've mellowed a bit. I've been to v Lincoln twice, and will definitely be making future trips... Sadly both my trips were losses....
