Hurricane Delta CFB Impact Thread

It’s official LSU is traveling to Missouri.

Going on the road to face a top 10 defense? Tough break for LSU
If the officials don't screw Mizzou they have this one in the bag. @Mutiger said that the officiating during Tenn again was horrendous and the refs basically gave the game to the Vols.

“If a hurricane’s coming, I’d say that’s gonna be a big challenge. We don’t know. It’s been discussed moving the game to a month from now or whenever that bye is for both teams, and it’s been discussed Friday and Sunday. It’s out of our control. We’ll see.”

(Folks here are starting to freak out.)

Looks like the storm will be right over Oxford at game time. No way they play Saturday.

I seen a couple of things about the Bama game being postponed but are seeing anything on Auburn? I don't get the coverage you guys get anymore in NC.

I havent, but looking at the path and timing the Auburn game can probably be snuck in.

Honestly, it's 2020... a hurricane/tropical storm should be standard for everyone to play in after halftime. In this voodoo year it would somehow benefit college kickers.

If that were true than Alabama would definitely play the game.

UT/UGA still good to go correct?

We aren't even in the cone of the storm. I assume there will be some random storms throughout the SE because of Delta, but even if we catch part of it, it won't be until Sunday.

Most recent cones. Based on this, they should move the game to Tuscaloosa:

With Hurricane Delta expected to hit the Gulf Coast this week, the SEC has announced a few TV schedule changes for football games this weekend:

  • Missouri vs. LSU is now at noon ET on Saturday on the SEC Network Alternate channel and the ESPN app. As we mentioned earlier this week, the game is relocating from Baton Rouge to Columbia.
  • Arkansas-Auburn is moving from SEC Network to ESPN. It will still be at 4pm ET.
  • Alabama-Ole Miss is moving from 6 pm ET to 7:30 pm ET. The game will remain on ESPN.
Other big games this weekend in the SEC, which are unchanged, include Florida-Texas A&M at noon ET on ESPN, and Tennessee-Georgia at 3:30 pm ET on CBS.

Auburn bumped Bama.

Yeah, I never once said that......refs were terrible though, UT didn't need the help
