I actually got a partial refund on my seasons pass to the local ski hill.

I'd love to try Killington, Stowe and a few others, but I'm just far enough away that I don't think I ever will. If I'm going to travel that far, I'm heading west.

I went to Whiteface in Lake Placid last year, which I enjoyed, but it was a nine hour drive. That was a pain in the ass.

There's a place in NY called Holiday Valley that's about 3 hours from me. I'll do that, otherwise, I'm heading to CO.

I don't ski but I am all about Colorado now. I plan to live there after I retire.

My best ski friend is a snowboarder. We've been skiing and riding together for a few decades. He's the only one my age that likes to go as fast as I do and also doesn't wear a helmet. Crazy how many people wear helmets these days.

We did vacation there this summer. CO was always a bucket list destination for me and it did not disappoint. The Mrs loved it too and is very on board with finding a place there
