I don’t think it’s unlucky. It’s a LOT of poor coaching and decision making from Frost that led to those losses

Man I had this very thought when the news broke on my app. I am like, so many close games... You lose. The big games... You lose. Georgia Southern comes to Lincoln... You lose... Who else does that kinda shit happen to?

And a lot of those are to unimpressive teams or what should be lower competition too. Have a real hard time feeling bad for a guy who was given all the time in the world to not suck, and now, even if a lower buyout was negotiated, is getting lottery winning money to just go away.
 
What about Ol what’s his name what used to coach Boise St and Washington? How bout him? Peterson?

I think Big 12 and ACC coaches are very vulnerable this round. So I think a reasonable list would include:

Matt Campbell
Dave Aranda

Stoops is not going anywhere he just became the winningest coach in KY history.

Pittman isn’t going anywhere as he’ll close it out in Arkansas.

Dave Doersn would be a terrible choice and I think has a big buyout.

They need to look at:
Hugh Freeze
Art Briles or Kendal

Maybe, I just don’t see him ever going back to a big program though. Don’t think he was lying about just not being okay with where the game’s at with recruiting and having to get in the dirt to be successful.

Last I heard about him he seemed to be enjoying his cushy leadership role at UW and was working on NIL programs and stuff.
