Who will replace Scott Frost?

That would be the only incentive.
The reassurance NU is in a safe and secure conference is another. It's why names like Matt Campbell, Chris Klieman and even someone like a Dave Doreen aren't out of the question. I think Rhule is the favorite right now unless the interm does something.

I accept reality, you're clueless what that is

It's okay, be clueless.

how could you be so sure joe pesci GIF

:pop2: :martini:

Matt Campbell
Luke Fickle
Matt Rhule
Troy Calhoun is interesting

Rhule is probably the best suited for the role.

I thought I remembered reading something about Rhule not liking the recruiting part of college?

championship winning coach, knows the midwest, developed NFL QB

i heard a few nebraska fans ask for Jerry Kill
I don't think he can handle stress of P5 program again

He'd get you to 8-9 wins. Your offense will be bland as hell, you'll play solid defense and ST and good complimentary football and not beat yourself.....so the opposite of Frosty.

NU will be fine in their coaching search but it's not the destination job SOME nebraska fans think it is
I mean it isnt USC or Alabama or Florida.......... that is a no brainer but it is still more prestigious than many out there. For any coach who does succeed he becomes a GOD among men in Nebraska and will receive full support.

Nebraska fans arent demanding championships, they want us to be respectable. If we lose it better be losing while doing everything right on both sides of the ball.

Well I don't think he will like the not having a job part of the NFL.

Guess he will have to choose, won't he.

If he's a good HC he hires a stellar recruiter and delegates.... like a good HC does

Yeah, end of the day, Nebraska is still a blue blood and attracts a certain amount of talent just off of name recognition. So it shouldn't be an "empty cupboard" situation and with the transfer portal, talent can be added quickly.

Imo, Nebraska just needs to identify a couple of the bigger name candidates out there, back up the Brinks truck and make them say no.

Nebraska continues the trend of hiring coaches from the state of Oregon and hires Helfrich.
