Frost fired

BECAUSE THEY SEND MORE PLAYERS TO THE NFL. lol

Btw, Auburn is sitting in the same talent rich area as Alabama, they're not a basketball blue blood...yet vastly different recruiting classes and football results.
Because they are the 2nd choice to Alabama. Same goes with Michigan and Michigan State. If you have multiple schools in a state -- one is the top school, the other is 2nd fiddle.

This isn't difficult.

I love reading this stuff

No… that’s using your logic bud…

I stated Nebraska is never going to be elite again because of their location. If you aren't located in a talent rich state -- you are never competing on a year to year basis with them who are.

It is why in the last 20 years -- NO TEAM without at least 50% of their roster blue chip recruits has won a national title.

Uh huh… you’ve stated a lot of things.

LOL at the end of the day a program like nebraska that is a blue blood and willing to invest everything necessary to succeed is what makes the difference. Sure we've fallen on hard (reallyIf really really hard) times, but we can turn it around quicker than a UCLA or a Michigan State with nothing more than a Coach
If by turn it around, you mean compete with Wisconsin and Iowa. I agree wholeheartedly. If you mean winning the B1G and competing with the Georgia and Alabama's of CFB. Pass me what you are smoking, I'd like a hit.

No one is competing with Alabama in the timeframe you want to use. You picked Georgia because they currently are, like Clemson was a few years ago. You’re setting a standard one team has achieved. You still haven’t defined “elite” by the way.

LOL no by turn it around i mean do just as good as Michigan, Penn State etc. You're on crack if you think you have any advantage over Nebraska just because of your location.

Major derpage on your part.

The right coach will get nebraska on this list in due time

Yeah, they're the second choice because Alabama sends more players to the NFL.

I didn't realize i had to be so specific with people who follow college football.

Michigan has an ENORMOUS advantage over Nebraska. One, we have blue chip recruits in state -- some years we even have 5 star recruits in state. Nebraska does not.

Michigan has been playing in the Midwest forever, unlike Nebraska, so those top recruits in state like Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois -- Michigan can and does sign them, as well as kids from Ohio. (I.E. surrounding states) Nebraska has only been a Midwest program for a decade or so.

Michigan has nationally elite academics, Nebraska ranks at the bottom of the B1G. So those elite recruits whose parents want academic/athletic balance -- Michigan gets those guys. 5 star Rashan Gary was because his mom loved UM's academics. 5 star Jabrill Peppers was because his parents loved the academics. 5 star Daxton Hill was because his parents loved the academics. 5 star Donovan Peoples Jones was because his parents loved the academics.
Nebraska is never signing a guy because of their academics.

Ann Arbor is regularly ranked one of, if not, the best college towns in America. I can't say anything about Nebraska as I haven't seen them on those lists.

I can't tell if you are serious, but if you think Nebraska has ANY chance in today's CFB to recruit like Michigan -- I'd like you pass what you are smoking because it isn't happening. Nebraska simply doesn't have anything to offer a recruit they can't get elsewhere. Outright buying recruiting classes would be the only way Nebraska would outrecruit UM right now.

Yeah, they're the second choice because Alabama sends more players to the NFL.
They are the second choice because Bama is a blue blood football program and these kids grow up living and breathing Bama football.

If you've never been to Alabama -- I highly suggest a trip. Hell, just go watch a high school football game. It is life in the south.

holy retarded walls of text batman
I will make it easy for you. I will speak in your terms. You'd have to be retarded to think Michigan doesn't have a recruiting advantage over Nebraska in today's CFB.

TODAY, yes, but that is more about coaching than anything. When nebraska finds the right coach and gets a few 9-10 win seasons strung together the recruiting will pick up and at that point NO michigan will not have any recruiting advantage.

Coaching > All

Maybe a wall of text...but he's right
no, he hasnt been right about anything which is why there is no point in reading his wall of text. If you believe he is right then you dont know squat about college football. better luck next time champ

Just to give you a glimpse of the difference in recruiting:

Last 10 years
Nebraska has signed a total of 5 top 100 recruits.
Michigan has signed a total of 36 top 100 recruits.
Penn State has signed a total of 25 top 100 recruits.

I don't even feel like looking up Ohio State, but my guess is we could add up all the top 100 recruits signed by the entire B1G and Ohio State would still have more.

This is just top 100 recruits. If I drop it to blue chip recruits -- the difference is even larger.

derp more derp and extra derp you clearly didnt read what you are replying to. Obviously nebraska has been absolute shit for the past 8 years so recruiting is going to suffer. The right coach will change that
