I’m too young to remember a time when Arky and SCar weren’t in the SEC.

But if you wanna go real old school, the SEC started as a 13 team conference. Sewanee dropped divisions and GT and Tulane left

I'd be fine with swapping GT and SCar. GT used to have some good rivalries in the SEC, especially with TN and Auburn.

This guy's an idiot. The reason is that you don't play an away game if you don't have a guaranteed return game. There might be more reasons that OU and TX are coming in early, but this isn't one of them. The idea that these games would be canceled has been discussed since the decision was made for them to come into the SEC.

South Carolina should have never left the ACC. That could have been US instead of Clemson, winning all those conference titles against a bunch of basketball schools, and playing for Nattys.

But now, we like the money too much

GT is useless. They’re basically Vandy with not as good of a baseball program. SCar and UGA are at least historic rivals too. Plus boomer GT fans would be up and arms because they’re still mad about a dirty play Bama had against GT in the 60’s. A lot of old timer GT fans hate Bama more than UGA

i mean to be fair it would be pretty short notice and most teams probably already have 23 set. or if they do have an open spot already have at least 1 P5 opponent.
 
Conference shifts in college football need to be as rare as a team switching leagues in MLB. Think it’s happened twice in my lifetime

its sucking the enjoyment out of the sport for me

idgaf about Nebraska/Iowa games. I'd rather watch Nebraska vs ANY member of the original Big 12 north. That doesn't even include Oklahoma.
 
But I guess at the end of the day it means another home game for UGA and Oklahoma isn’t worthy of us going to them for an OOC game anyways
