As expected by many, reeling Texas A&M will have a new starting quarterback on Saturday when the No. 24 Aggies (1-1) host No. 13 Miami (2-0) at 9 p.m. eastern on ESPN.

Junior Max Johnson, who started 12 games last season at LSU, will start in place of sophomore Haynes King. The offense struggled mightily under King’s leadership the last two weeks, particularly in Texas A&M’s 17-14 loss to 18-point underdog Appalachian State on Saturday.

KJ Jefferson the Arkansas QB is an LSU transfer.

TJ Finley at Auburn is a LSU transfer but he sucks.

i'm picking aggy to win but it's gonna be a tough game. Max actually had more time last season to get rid of the ball at LSU than what King has had so far this season behind this OL.

Fatheree has regressed big time.. Layden RObinson is looking like an UDFA instead of a day 2 pick..

Think Jimbo gets this win, not because Max will be that much of an improvement over King but because Mario sucks with in game decision makings

ha - I really wasn't sure. While I'm sure I sound old (I'm 36), back a decade or so ago transfers were few and you could easily keep up with them. Nowadays you have entire teams made up over the break with transfers (i.e. Arizona football).
