TV Series Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon

I'm confused by so much that occurred sy the end
The only thing I’m super confused about was Rhaenyra is telling Daemon he will need to take out the guard and take her away. Then a commotion and fighting, but how did that start and where did Daemon go?

Perhaps a rewatch will make that clearer for me.

What about?
What about?

Well what exactly happened? They clearly obscured the view to keep it ambiguous as to what started all the commotion and setoff the Knights guard pummeling that homo to death.

Something beyond their conversation had to provoke that. Did Deamon actually do something that started that, did the Valerian parents somehow trigger that to get that guy out of the picture now that their son was getting married or did the Queen play a part into that? What happened to Dameon as well in that whole thing. Just a lot of questions.

I think the Homo was basically blackmailing Sir Criston and his honor couldn’t take it so he beat the dude to death.

E5 has some serious Threes Company level ‘misunderstanding’ plot progression.
Plus overdramatization.
And crippled lord exposition of the garden.
And then Jj abrams mystery box storytelling.
Pretty much an episode of House of Cards, as someone mentioned.

The whole scene at the wedding going haywire was bat shit to me too, and it left me puzzled. One minute she’s telling Daemon to run through the guard and take her away. Then commotion and you’re set up to think Daemon has gone ape shit.

But, you don’t really see him. Then when you can make sense Cole is beating the man to death.

It caused me to read a few reviews and get some sense that this was poorly adapted and handled.

Two things I gleaned are inferred but not confirmed in the books. Daemons wife (beginning of episode) did die in a hunting accident, but the true cause is left to interpretation. They didn’t need to hit us over the head with a rock about it.

Similarly, Coles downfall was ambiguous and they just had to go all shock and awe on it.

I don’t really agree with either scene. It’s ham handed. Luckily in between these two scenes bookending they show was some fantastic political play that will pay dividends to once we get into the big time jump, which I believe is next week.

Come & knock out our door............

This is awesome. Gotta say HOTD is less GOT and more HOC.

Great story so far. Probably better than either I've mentioned if I'm being honest
It's pretty good but to say it's better than GOT is pretty ridiculous

What the fuck are yall talking about
Make believe.

Mena Suvari was 20 when Kevin Spacey was beating off in bed to her while his wife slept.

Not looking forward to 22 year old Rhaenyra being replaced by a dude next week. Going to hurt my interest in this show.

1. Yeah forgot Kevin Spacey was in that one. So yeah kinda cringe now.

2. They are replacing a 19 year old girl playing a 16 year old girl with a 30 year old woman playing a 35-40 year old woman. The only problem I see is the 19 year old has killed it so CGI age her and let her finish the story. But it's an anthology series so I'll accept the outcome.

Milly Alcock is 22.

Emma D’arcy isn’t a girl.

HOTD is killing it in the ratings averaging 29 million viewers a week. To put that in persepective Yellowstone was the recent rating leader, considereda huge success and was pulling an average of 10 million viewers a week. HOTD could lose half their viewership and still lead the pack.

We are going to watching GOT shows for a while.

Everything I just read says she is a girl. Born a female, she is a female. Her saying she's non-binary doesn't change that biological fact.
