Donavon Smith is a fucking terrible quarterback, the worst quarterback Tech has run out since I have observed their games from 1997 to today. Smith will be sacked 4 times, for sure an
Interception or two, and possibly a pick six. He stands in the pocket like a statue, zero movement, his feet are flat, he does not have an internal clock, he locks on to a receiver and has zero progressions, his accuracy is fucking terrible!

Tech defense this year is surprisingly good for tech. Tech loses by 21 easy, offense doesn’t do shit to help a defense that may not play pathetically bad.

Negative, you will @ me and say damn he does suck. I’d take your backup card in a heartbeat. Of course smith is our backup too, the shough guy broke his collarbone again.
I’m telling you, smith is fucking bad man. He looks so god damn lost.
Our defense is NOT terrible, no great, but not terrible. Like I saw our DBs win one on ones vs NC state, when in the past it was automatic panic and DPI. We have a DE than can consistently get pressure.

Just blitz smith, blitz him evey play, guy has zero pre snap reads and will not see the blitz. NC state was leaving their DBs on islands the entire game and Smith couldn’t figure it out. If tech had a halfway competent qb they would have beat NC state.
