Are we sure they couldn’t?That transitive shit don’t work. If it did, we could logically conclude that TCU would beat Nebraska something like 108-14

But that sounds accurate. That transitive shit don’t work. If it did, we could logically conclude that TCU would beat Nebraska something like 108-14
Not sure you'd really want this -- Didn't you lose to Purdue last year, when they had their all-american WR and all-american DE sit out the bowl game?It doesn't but it shows you what is wrong with teams like Missouri being in your league. I cannot stand when an SEC school goes and embarrasses itself out of conference when you know they are better than the performance they put up.
Auburn, Missouri, and Texas A&M all fit the bill this year with their dreadful OOC losses. You should get a one year suspension from the SEC if you do that kind of shit.
The only way that will happen is if the number used for determine relegation is dollars.College football should have a relegation system.
3 Tiers, 40 schools per tier (thing over 40 except in the last tier)
The number of teams relegated/promoted every year can be up for debate for now.
Nah. Nebraska would score at least 17.But that sounds accurate.
Teams have 4 weeks of tape to see what it was we did to kick Oregon's ass. My main complaint last night was (1) the OL didn't play well (credit to Mizzou's DL, too), and our OC, who I love, didn't seem to adjust to what they were doing.Breaking news.. Teams look like they have improved in week 5 compared to how they looked in week 0
Well yeah, obviously the top tier would get the most money. But it’d give bottom tiers a chance to move up. But the big guys would never agree to it so it’s just a pipe dream. The only way that will happen is if the number used for determine relegation is dollars.
It's a money sport.

Might not be the best example since it could actually happen. lol

Okay, okay. I should have picked an example that less likely to happen.Nah. Nebraska would score at least 17.

Yes, the big boys would never agree to it.Money generated.
For example:
Let's just say that Nebraska will really suck someday, and, Boise State puts together a good year or two.
Boise state would never be elevated above Nebraska simply because Nebraska makes more money.
I know there are much worse than the Purdue game for Tennessee in year's past, but if you kicked team's out for losing against a team they should have walked all over -- Tennessee wouldn't be in the SEC this year and they obviously are a much different team this year.Actually last year wouldn't have been our worse year. 2019 was a definite kick Tennessee out of SEC year.
Mizzou held KSU to 334 yards of total offense....defense even forced 3 straight FG's after Mizzou Qb's threw like 4 straight INT's. KSU scored some garbage points at the end of the game. Mizzou Qb's missed on 3 easy TD's, 2 of them were picked because they were so under thrown. KSU is a decent team.....they are not better than Georgia, who still put up like 480 yards of offense last night (helped by some blatant holding by their LT and bad 4th Qtr officiating). They beat Missouri 40-12?
What does that say about Tulane as well? Would Tulane compete for SEC Championship?
I mean seriously, why can Missouri play with Georgia but can't play with Kansas State?
If Kansas State is good, how come they couldn't beat Tulane?
This is the stuff that just racks the brain of a college football fan...![]()
If that is the case, what would Tulane do to Oregon? Yikes!
Yeah, I guess main point of this thread is don't look at these OOC losses too heavily. I mean Ohio State in 2014 won the National Title but lost at home to a pretty mediocre Virginia Tech team. That didn't mean Virginia Tech would win the B1G and was a National Title contender.

I'd be embarrassed if i lost to Purdue once you remove their All-American WR who carried their offense and their All-American DE who anchored their defense. Purdue doesn't just plug in the next elite recruit to take over. Taking those guys away from Purdue make them a 3 or 4 win team.To be fair, I only referenced regular season OOC games and ones were they were embarrassed (lost by multiple scores). We barely lost a bowl game to a team that was higher in B1G standings and had better record than Tennessee.
