Huge hire for GT as they will certainly be a target of the BIG when the raid on the ACC happens. Prime has the business connections in Atlanta (NIL) he is a master marketing guy , has the buzz and is good for the game.
Let him pick the AD and assistants and get of his way and GT would be good imo but even without Deion this hire needs to be a good/smart one.

We Lready turned down the B1G once. They targeted GT, UVA, Maryland. They got Maryland and Rutgers. The offer to join was on the table. GT made a bad decision.

Second worst decision ever at GT. First was leaving the SEC FU Bobby Dodd!!!!!!

From what I'm seeing GT is looking to spend $2.5-3 mil on the next coach. Deion could basically get that anywhere. $5 mil/year would put Deion maybe in the top 25 for pay. I'm not sure if we're willng (or able) to spend that. But $5 mil/year would be the floor for luring him away.

If we could somehow get him here, he'd do very well. I believe he could get good recruits from the states of Georgia, Florida, and the rest of the south. I think he could actually develop their talent. I just don't think we're in his league.

Completely by choice. Ryan Reynolds currently owns a football (soccer) team in the 5th tier league in Britain. He made ~$600 million when he sold Aviation Gin a few years ago. He could have bought a much better team in a higher league. Instead, he paid ~$3 million for Wrexham. Just as Ryan Reynolds owns Wrexham as a special project, Deion works at Jax state as a special project too.

Apparently Auburn may be coming after Deion. They pay $5 mil/year for their head coach. Think GT can outbid them, homie?

Mullen could have success at a place like GT. His Miss State tenure was far better than his Florida tenure. Go to a place where they just want to make a bowl every year with the occasional 10 win season, Mullen can deliver, he’s just not gonna live up to expectations with any program with natty aspirations

I think Mullen would be fine, and he could really make a name here. Maybe squeak us into a playoff every here and there, who knows.
