How long do the Giants stay with Danny Dimes??

Reading is not your friend...
You brought up single games where he was given an award while not being the best player. He was carried by his defensive line during those runs along with a few circus catches by David Tyree and Mario Manningham. You’d know that if you actually watched the games.

Repeat after me...

In the history of the earth. Only 5 people that has ever walked foot on it can say they have won multiple Super Bowl MVP'S.

Eli Manning is one of them...The other four winners of multiple Super Bowl MVPs — Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Bart Starr, and Terry Bradshaw...

End of story.. Game over.

Anything you say after this is pissing in the wind..

The Tyree catch was a crazy flukish play, no question about it.

The Manningham play was not. Eli threaded the needle and put the ball on his fingertips 40 yards downfield. Great catch, better throw.

Little to soon . NOw darnold ..,,, they need to Move. On

Biggest issue for the NYG isn't QB, it's OL.

Not anymore... And there goes Danny Dimes hall of fame chances...

I hope he enjoys every snap from here on out cause now he ain't got shit to work with..

He bout to get David Carr'd..

But.....lucky? Ha.

Crappy QBs win titles sometimes. Eli was never even a top ten QB during his career.
This is the truth. He was pretty average his whole career. His career rating of 84.1 shows it. Andy Dalton has a career rating of 87.5. Ryan Fitzpatrick has 81.5. Mitch Trubisky 86.1. Eli is with those QB's.

#8 in all time NFL career passing yards
#9 in all time NFL career touchdown passes
2 time super bowl Champ
2 time super bowl MVP

Let's look at the whole truth...

Let's see how Trubs, fitzmagic and big red matches up to that??

Was never considered a top 10 QB in his whole career.

A career is not defined by two games, even super bowls. The Hall of Fame takes into account an entire career and as was pointed out he was never a top 10 quarterback at any point in time and his long career

Two things you can never take away from Eli:

His rings
His toughness

That kid took a beating for years and never missed a game. And in the two biggest moments of his career, he came through and defeated a Dynasty.

I've never liked Eli because of how he and his family behaved when he was getting drafted, but I can respect what he's done as a player.

Danny Dimes got the Giant's rolling now...

Probably hold out next year for that big contract..

Passer Rating is an over-rated stat.....pretty much worthless.

I agree it is over-rated, but not worthless. It gives a snapshot of a QB's career.

Until the Giants improve their offensive line, it doesn't matter who they put back there.
