Went to the local Safeway, and some old crazed looking white dude walked in with a holstered .45 in condition 1 ( round chambered, hammer cocked, safety on) or it could have been condition 0 (round chambered, hammer cocked, safety off). Either way I didn't like the looks of his ass. He walked around, wasn't shopping, just looking around. I said fuck this mess. Bought my stuff and headed out the entrance way opposite that fool.

It's a chickadee.
The picture is too blurry for me to tell which variety (Actually, I'm only familiar with one variety, the chestnut-backed chickadee).

I don't know it's a chickadee because I'm so into birds, I know this because at my old house, I used to have one that did much as you describe the one at your house doing, and the markings on its head were exactly the same as in your picture.
