Just read someone had a suicide by train about a mile south of me.

Look if you're gonna kill yourself at least have the decency to not wreck the train operator's life in the process.

It's a chickadee.
The picture is too blurry for me to tell which variety (Actually, I'm only familiar with one variety, the chestnut-backed chickadee).

I don't know it's a chickadee because I'm so into birds, I know this because at my old house, I used to have one that did much as you describe the one at your house doing, and the markings on its head were exactly the same as in your picture.
