I was going to wait another weak or so to start this, but Carolina has tipped my hand.

Coaches that will be fired during and after this season: Discuss.

My current take:

Matt Ruhle, Panthers Gone--->
Lovie Smith, Texans
Ron Rivera, Commanders
Dan Cambell, Lions

I think these 2 will retire after this season:

Bill Belichick, Patriots
Pete Carroll, Seahawks

Not going to lie after watching this season’s HBO Hard knocks I came away thinking the entire Detroit coaching staff was a clown show. The only group I had seen that was worse were the Browns 3 to 4 years ago and I think that coach lasted 3 games.

Can't see Pete retiring on a down year. Will want to see some success and then step out. Lovie has been handed a shit team, but still could see him getting canned.
No idea how Dan Campbell hasn't already been canned, though if he had even an average QB they would be much better.

Going all in for Russell Wilson and having the Broncos playing as shitty as they are, I wouldn't be surprised if Hackett gets the boot before the season ends.

I was worried for the last couple of years that when Russell Wilson went "Hollywood" that his game would suffer. Looks like it has.

Coaches need to either be happy with their payday they got, or make better choices about where they work. Even if RW played like peak-RW, that's still a bad team and he knew it was up for sale.

Thing is, there are 2 premier QBs in that division, and Wilson should have realized he'd have a much better chance with the Bears in the NFL North. I guess he sold out for the big $$$.

Could have hung on for a year and gone to the Giants.

What?
You got no love for the Broncos HC getting fired before the season ends?

His coaching decisions has been a dumpster fire.
What a waste of a good defense too.

Seems like a lot of HC's this year have gone stupid. What was with the Chiefs going for 2 late last night? Then what was up with the Raiders doing the same stupid thing? Just kick the XP and play for OT. :L

The Fords are very loyal so Campbell will most likely be in Detroit the start of next season. Personally I'd like to see him gone by Thanksgiving when the Lions are 2 - 9. He's cost them atleast 2 games so far.

The Bears have a shitty OL and lack talent.

Pete? He just got boat load of draft picks from Denver. Thanks to Ruselll Wilson theirs may be a very high pick and get a good qb in the draft.

P.S. You know you suck when your team choose Geno Smith over you!

Shanahan in SF. 6 years and he was dubbed "genious". He was raked over the coals in local papers Monday. Here is a shocking stat for the 49ers in the Shanahan era:

49er 0-26 when behind by 4 points or more starting 4th quarter since 2017. Yup all those running plays and passes behind the line of scrimmage over and over again. Example 49ers down by 14 with 10 minutes to go against Falcons. Shanahan play calling with huddles...8 minute drive. When Shanahan scripts the plays at beginning of game and half, they have done pretty well, when he needs to be spontaneous and up the tempo when behind, he is bullshit. Set in his ways. Injuries are the biggest 49er problem right now, after that it is Shanahan. Trey Lance will be some other coaches problem next season.

AZ has to be done with the Coach Bro experiment, don't they?
