Basically, yeah. Can't say I think either beat any of the CFP stalwarts if they got there. I am not so sure Texas isn't actually the best team in the Big 12 if Ewers is healthy. Don't think UT can realistically make the CFP either.

Nah. Ohio State gonna beat Michigan so bad this year Harbaugh gonna end the season early again. But it doesn't get much better. Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, and Clemson

Tennessee suddenly emerging as a candidate for pimping of a 3rd SEC playoff team.

If they can beat 1 of Bama or UGA and play close in the other game.

The rest of their schedule after those 2 games they aint losing.

I still think Clemson takes a L at some point, and it's hard to see any of the Pac 12 or Big 12 teams getting through unbeaten.

We can laugh but it's a not so far fetched scenario and ESPNs Wettest of dreams.

Hell throw Ole Miss in the realm of possibility too. They beat Bama, go to the SEC title game and lose close to Georgia.

Ole Miss beats Bama

You get a undefeated Ole Miss vs 1 loss Tennessee in the SEC title game.

Bama and UGA sit and wait with 1 loss.

Tennessee wins the fucking SEC title game. You got FOUR 1 loss SEC teams.

Think for a second they wouldnt be crying for a all SEC playoff? Hell unless there's a undefeated P5 team they might fucking do it.

Am I crazy if I say USC goes undefeated and gets absolutely mollywhopped in the 1st round of the CFP? That feels like a plausible scenario with the Pac-12.
