Am I crazy if I say USC goes undefeated and gets absolutely mollywhopped in the 1st round of the CFP? That feels like a plausible scenario with the Pac-12.
Yeah I could see USC winning out (small chance)

Also hard to image Lincoln has the type of depth he wants at USC to compete with the top tier if he makes it in

Only a little crazy

Honestly forgot about them and UCLA, but one will beat the other, and they still have tough games left in conference

Oregon slips back in and gets mollywhopped by Georgia again.

OD declares moral victory because they "didnt lose as bad" the 2nd time around

Ah, two teams of which Iowa State still has scoreboard.
The end is near.
Kaboom!

Here's a complete fuckery scenario

Bama beats Tennessee

but Tennessee beats Georgia

Ole Miss beats Bama

You get a undefeated Ole Miss vs 1 loss Tennessee in the SEC title game.

Bama and UGA sit and wait with 1 loss.

Tennessee wins the fucking SEC title game. You got FOUR 1 loss SEC teams.

Think for a second they wouldnt be crying for a all SEC playoff? Hell unless there's a undefeated P5 team they might fucking do it.
They wouldn’t put ole miss in (we’ll hear how when you lose matters as the primary excuse) and one of Georgia/bama would be in with Tennessee unless there is more then 2 undefeated P5’s. I’m not saying it’s right, I’m just saying what I think they’ll do unfortunately.

Oh yea Ole Miss would definitely get screwed, I have no doubt they would get 3 if there was only 1 undefeated P5. There's no realm of realism where they could justify 4 but they'd get 3. "Bama beat the SEC Champ and UGAs only loss was to the great SEC Champ!"

Yeah, especially if there are no undefeated P5. The only 1 loss champ they aren’t getting in over is Ohio state imo. Although it’d be interesting to see how the committee would handle a 1 loss pac champ USC.

I think they'd be favorable toward a 1 loss Pac champ USC, but not at the expense of Bama or UGA.

USC with 1 loss would get in over most others though.

At this point ive pretty much accepted it'll take 2 losses to keep Bama or UGA out, or a unusual amount of teams finishing undefeated.

I do think they'd put a 1 loss Bama or UGA that lost "close" in the SEC title game in over a unbeaten Big 12 champ not named Texas or Oklahoma though if that was what it was down to for spot #4

I don't see ANY Big 12 team going through the conference slate undefeated. Just not that much separation in them. JMO.

Bro after Iowa State this weekend you might not get another win. Your schedule is back loaded. I know OU gave you false hope that you are good.
LOL.. you didn't give us false hopes, UT did what it was supposed to do.. break the little hearts of its rival in it's biggest game of the season. Quinn hadn't played since the first quarter of week 2 and had an ok game working off rust.
I think Texas is a legit top 15-25 team with a healthy Ewers.
They are easily a top 5 team.. The offense is going to get better as the season moves along. Most schools are what they are after 6 games in, but UT isn't there yet with Quinn being back and Billingsly also set to join the team and play this week (suspended by NCAA for 6 games due to violations at Bama last season).

If they run the table, win the CCG, there's going to be a real legit chance that they are the first 2 loss team in the CFP. Quinn really is that guy..

Top 5 is shooting for the stars right now. They have a lot to prove before I'm willing to put them there.

lol every team in anyone's top 5 have a lot to prove still.. Bama, UGA, even tosu all have question marks.. There isn't a true dominant CFB team this season to this point.. maybe it changes by the time October finishes up?

None of those teams have two losses.

All have dealt with star players out.

lol who besides Bama has had it's true star out? Don't give me shit about JSN or papermachete built Henderson for tosu. Stroud is what makes that team a contender. UGA? Stetson is it's best QB despite the rankings of the other QBs in the room.

It’s not anti tejas smack to call you a lunatic homer for proclaiming your 4-2 team is top 5.
