GAME Southern Cal @ Utah on FOX

This feels like a year were the eventual winner has 2 losses. Maybe UCLA bucks that, but I don't see any of the others winning out, particularly with the top 2 CCG.

As far as PAC-12 opponents, USC looks to have the easiest remaining schedule with UCLA being the only real threat left while UCLA still has Oregon and USC and the Ducks still have UCLA, UW, Utah and the Beavs.

For me it boils down to just how bad every defense in the Pac is this year. It creates an x-factor for even top offensive teams to find a way to lose games they shouldn't.

Statistically, the cougs have the defense giving up the least ppg in the Pac and are like 29th in the country. The front runners are near the middle of FBS at most.

There can't be any Pac fan that actually likes their defense. Seriously. They are all sub par. Hell, UW isn't the worst in the Pac and their D reminds me of the atrocious unit they had under Nick Holt/Sark it's so bad.

True, but there are a lot of bad defenses in cfb this year. Hell, Bama gave up 52 points yesterday.

If any Pac team had even a slightly above average D to go with any of those high power offenses around the conference, I'd love their chance at a playoff bid. I'm just not seeing it.

Well besides our defense. Our defense has dominated every opponent outside of Oregon. SC got points because our offense blows and gives everyone the ball on our side of the field. The Heisman trophy candidate was a MWC QB against us.
