The NFC East Thread

But he was supposed to be a phenomenal, once-in-a-generation quarterback.
he was good and has the talent, just doesn't have it upstairs. nick foles winning the super bowl was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to say.

Kudo's to Ron for calling it like it is. Carson has been a colossal failure.

uh oh @Y.O.M. jags lose again. Should have been an easy win. Next five games:
Giants
Broncos
Raiders
Chiefs
Ravens

Might be realistically looking at 3-8 in 6 weeks.

Philadelphia 6-0
New York 5-1
Dallas 4-2
Washington 2-4

Good game by the Eagles, hopefully the next time we play we are 100% healthy like y'all were and we will even the series.
Keep that top spot warm for us, we're coming for it.

That’s my take away. I don’t know what happens last night if Dak played, it surely would have been much, much closer at least.

To me the Cowboys QB play was the difference here. To be fair…he didn’t suck in a vacuum, but was pressured into all his errors. It also didn’t help that your coaching staff walks right past a money 1st down review.

All that said….it’s a different ball game in Dallas later this year. But, we will be coming for it.

Since the next Dallas game isn't until Week 16, that's a pretty long wait and in the meantime, A LOT of things and A LOT of injuries can happen.
Also, let's not discount New York. They just beat Green Bay and Baltimore in back-to-back weeks to go to 5-1.

Carson Wentz will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a broken finger. It looks like Taylor Heinike will be the starter.

I love the Eagle fans that get big muscles until they face a team with a pulse.
So…..I just need to know….have we faced a team with a pulse yet?

y'all won't have any issues with Giants.

Eagles next 4 games: Texans, Redskins, Colts, Packers (in Philly). 10-0 then?

Cowboys next 4 games: Lions, Bears, Packers (in the tundra), Vikings (in Minnesota). 3 and 1 in these and 7-3 then?

NOTE: Last night they said: Cowboys 19 pts per game this season, last year 31 points per game. Not out of the question with Dak that will go up some and with that defense, losses will become wins.

Gotcha. But, we did put up 3 TDS and 2 FGs on a defense with a pulse?
Besides the Eagles, I wonder which teams have an offense with a pulse.
They don't play Buffalo.
Minnesota is 5-1, with their only loss coming from Philly.
Detroit's defense stinks but their offense is VERY good.
Jacksonville had a couple of games where they scored a lot of points.
The Giants are 5-1, with or without an offense.
The Jets are 4-2, with or without an offense - but they don't play them.
Kansas City is 4-2 - but they don't play them.
Everyone else is 3-3 or worse.

In other words, don't expect an intelligent answer anytime soon because there isn't one.

I also didn’t ask you, champ.

In other words, records don't mean anything about how an offense looks.

Apparently, the owners are trying to get rid of Daniel Snyder.
