Former UGA WR smacks female Tennessee fan

It's stupid ass thin skinned people too. I could never imagine myself calling someone employer and being like "you know what so and so said on Twitter?!?" Unless it's some mass shooting or bomb threat or something

It is all about PR. These companies think that what an employee on their personal twitter account said could come back to bite them. Companies are very sensitive about the woke brigade for some reason. I think it hurts their chances with investors who seem to be behind some of the woke push.

Interestingly, lower level employees are probably more likely to get away with it than higher end employees. At some point in the Corporate world, you are just going to have to grit your teeth and get through the woke stupidity because it is everywhere now.

Put me behind one of those things. I don't care if it's my teams fans or not. That shit would be fun
When I was in the Navy, i had to do a weeks fire and flooding training at a facility on base. We had a group of new kids that had never worked with high pressure fire hoses, and they allowed it to get away from them and start slinging around. This was dangerous as hell as those fire hose nozzles are pure brass. The damn thing swung around and the water hit all of us in the midsection. It nearly took my breath away when it hit me. Knocked us all backwards about 4 feet and onto our asses. I learned real respect for the awesome power of a high pressure hose that day, thats for sure.

It would be fun to do to people not suspecting it though, knock their asses to the ground. Since most would be drunk, they would get up and laugh most likely.

You might want to take a look at some of those rosters before you say they couldn't compete. Yes, okay styles are different but to think that 2001 Miami teams players couldn't adjust to a different play style is crazy. That teams roster was insane

In certain areas. Ken Dorsey was a pedestrian quarterback which was arguably the most important position on the field. The coaching staff ended up getting canned 2-3 years later (Larry Coker as head coach).

They were definitely best team in 2001 but I just don't buy them being best CFB ever and I think they are overhyped in a lot of ways.

Put them against the 2004 USC team just 3 years later. USC has a better QB (Matt Leinart), better coaching (Pete Carroll), a solid defense just like Miami, and an explosive RB/WR star Reggie Bush. I think that USC team would have beaten 2001 Miami.

I think several of the Nick Saban Alabama teams would have beaten 2001 Miami. I think 2019 LSU would have beaten 2001 Miami.

Everyone just points to NFL draft picks instead of looking at the full team.

I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss Dorsey. The guy managed to stay on an NFL roster for a pretty long time after being drafted in the 7th round. They don't keep you around for nothing.

Miami had Clinton portis, frank gore, and Willis mcgahee at the RB position. Jeremy Shockey at TE and Andre Johnson at WR. That's a stupid offense.

On defense they had Phil Buchanan and Ed Reed in the backfield, Jonathan Vilma at LB, and McKinney on the defensive line.

Just a loaded team that I think you are discounting a little too easily

The world has gone crazy. Granted it was a dumb thing to say, but to lose your job over it?
Agree 100%... people get fired today for the smallest things. Especially stuff said outside of work. Social Media is to blame. This is why you post stupid stuff on anonymous message boards like this one instead of Facebook/Twitter where people can track you.

A FB player, unprovoked, hit an opposing team’s fan in the head when said fan was celebrating her team’s win. Said fan was an unsuspecting female.

Then this idiot, with his real name, openly states that he’s glad Burton hit her in the head.

Yeah, not a very good example of “wokism”, to say the least. People who aren’t cunts get fired all the time.

I love seeing Alabama fans get trolled as much as anyone but to say Alabama doesn't have a legit title since 2015 is a little laughable. That 2020 Alabama team might be the best CFB team out there.
2019 LSU vs 2020 Bama would've been a fun game

Although the 2019 Bama-LSU game was a good one too lol

How sober do I have to be to see the video? All I see a shaky camera and a lot of color.

I said this the other day and asked if there was a better view. To me -- it looks like she runs up into his space and he just throws his arm to the side after she goes past?

If he did smack her -- it obviously wasn't much of anything as she wasn't fazed in the least bit?

Not sure what video you are watching. He intentionally reaches out and makes contact with her head. She then stops and puts her hand to her head and looks around

If you win a natty and then transfer to the team you beat for the natty because a white guy named Ladd is better than you, nobody is gonna be shocked if you hit a woman

I see a female fan run up into his face when she had an entire field she could have been running toward. IMO, if you aren't on the football teams, if you run out onto the field and get in the face of a player, you deal with what happens.

Just my opinion. I'm not advocating for people to intentionally start assaulting fans, but if you are running out onto the field. Run to your players and away from the opposing team. Seems like common sense to me. You can see in the one video -- the UT fans is sticking his phone in the guys face. College kids didn't sign up for that. I'd smack it out of the way too.

I seriously don't think we are watching the same video.
Only part I agree with is the cell phone part

To me -- it looks like he is walking off the field and she came running up to him. It isn't as if he sought her out. She ran into where he was walking.
