The past has happened. Goal posts were down, fields were stormed, fans got punched, some teams were dealt their first loss. A new week is on the horizon. So, what do you all see happening?
Who gets their first loss? Syracuse or Clemson
Does Iowa score more than 13 points, and do they hold the Buckeyes to lower than 37 points?
Does LSU give the Rebels their first loss?
Will Texas beat the Cowboys?
Can Oregon end the Bruins undefeated run?

Nebraska will NOT lose.

So, what do you all see happening? A severe decline in CFB fandom. Which was kind of expected, but never thought it’d be this quickly and this much.

Who gets their first loss? Syracuse.

Does Iowa score more than 13 points, and do they hold the Buckeyes to lower than 37 points? Both are a “maybe”, I guess. Suckeyes win soundly, tho.

Does LSU give the Rebels their first loss? It’s a toss-up. I say yes.

Will Texas beat the Cowboys? Fuck no.

Can Oregon end the Bruins undefeated run? Probably.

Clemson wins by 45
Ohio State wins 17-5
Ole Miss wins by 3 TDs
Okie State wins on a last second FG
Oregon wipes the floor with UCLA

Does Iowa score more than 13 points, and do they hold the Buckeyes to lower than 37 points? JSN is rumored to be playing this week. If he does, then no and yes, if he doesn't...well it's still no and yes

Does LSU give the Rebels their first loss? This is the weird type of game LSUs talent could somehow get up for and win, but i am not feeling it. Think Ole Miss wins but it's close.


Will Texas beat the Cowboys? No

Can Oregon end the Bruins undefeated run? Yes
 
Clemson wins, but its close. Cuse almost always plays them close. Clemson also just doesn't have the killer instinct this year to blow out teams. They've had the opportunity several times now.
 
Syracuse has one gimme game left and that it against BC. We're about to find out how legit they are

Crazy that this is only their second road game so far. The first being UCONN.

pretty wild that their first three ACC games were at home. I'm thinking about getting tickets for the Wake/Cuse and Wake/UNC games. I'm going to the Wake/BC game this Saturday

17-5? lol I was thinking more like 41-3.

If Iowa's sorry ass offense does manage to score more than 3, that's how we'll know OSU is weak and ripe for a beating by a better school. On paper, OSU's defense should send Iowa home with NEGATIVE points.

Meh they might get a TD in garbage time. Of the 87 offensive points Ohio State has given up this season, almost 40% (34 points) have come after the starters have been pulled

I just don't even think Iowa can score on them in garbage time.

Ohio State runs out of the back of the end zone as time expires to end the game, thus the safety

Potentially another great week.

Oregon/UCLA has serious sizzle
LSU/Ole Miss could be sneaky good
Clemson/Syracuse is this weeks "prove it" bowl imo
Texas/Okie State is big and I think Texas has a real shot at being Big12 champ as long as the hippie stays healthy
If Mississippi State can jump on Alabama early the angst will be palatable
Minnesota/Penn State could be interesting

When that hair is outside the helmet then you a hippie.

I always liked my old HS coaches' rules on hair. He carried a sharp knife and told all on the team "You are representing the school, team, community and me, you wear your hair as long as ya want any way ya want but what's IN that helmet is yours and anything outside it is mine" as he showed his knife.... and he DID use it from time to time on the dumb guys who didn't think he was serious :laugh:
