Zach is Back!!!

So like behavior counsel as in how not to behave? Zach just gonna go live his normal lifestyle and Saban will be like

So he’s the new domestic abuse strength and conditioning coordinator?

I guess Saban figured his player couldn’t even knock out a drunk college chick, so they needed lessons.

Ok
Don't remember the back story.
What's up
Zach Smith coached at Ohio State.
Urban Meyer protected him because he was the grandson of Earle Bruce.
Zach was accused of domestic violence back when he was as Florida while on Urban's staff.
Urban brought him to Ohio State as WR coach in spite of that.
Eventually, Zach and his wife split up. She went scorched earth, accusing Zach of domestic abuse. If it means anything, HER family thinks she is bat_chit crazy.
By the time it was over, Zach was fired, Urban was suspended for 3 games and at the end of the year gone from Ohio State.
Ohio State promoted Brian Hartline to WR coach and Ryan Day to HC.

Urban went to Fox and was really good on Big Fox Saturday, then went to the NFL's Jags, where he was an unmitigated disaster, and is now back at Fox.

Zach is now remarried, has 2 additional kids, and has a very successful podcast "Menace2Sports" and also sells betting info (I don't bet, so I don't know how good he is at that). He was an incredible recruiter and also a really good WR coach.

But his recruiting line was "Sign with us or I'll beat your mom up", so...

He was just Bruce's grandson though. Pretty sure you meant that but doubled it up so it looks like Earle Bruce is from the 1800s

I should have added that Zach's best recruiting buddy was Titty Bar Tom Herman. Some pretty wild stories about some of their recruiting trips.

I remember back when it happened, many Ohio state fans saying he was a shitty WR coach but great recruiter.

Sounds like he is 1 of the 100 coaches that is on as an "advisor".

Parris Campbell
Terry McLaurin

4/5 drafted still in the league, including 3 who are great/good. The one who is not in the league was injured and never returned to form.
That's when Urban Meyer's favorite play was the QB counter run.
That's not an accident, and it's not all talent.

It's the Saban coaching rehab program.
