I have to figure out a consistently good stock recipe. I don't want it to taste like a box/can but that last one I made with the parsnips was so sweet. Learned my lesson, but dang. I love a good soup!I haven't seen the food threads, yet (only 'cause I haven't looked around, although I did notice a Waffle House thread on the front page before I navigated to this thread), but I'm going to make my first soup of the season. I'd happily share with you. It's just going to be a vegetable soup, but I make pretty good vegetable soup (the secret is a fuckton of parsley ... and I don't like parsley, but for some reason it really makes the stock of a vegetable soup extra good).
As an employer, I don’t put much stock in recommendations (because they’re not going to give you one that is going to say something bad), but I’d see it as a major red flag if they had to reach back nine years to get one.
