After 3 days of traveling, finally get to relax a while.

Day 1: The Rockies
Magnificent and scary. Was trying to make it to Denver before sunset. Didn't happen. Got dark, cold, and snowy. Temps got down to 16 degrees. Vail looked like it was Christmas there. Thankfully never had problems with traction. Hardly anyone pulled over. Everybody there probably used to it.

Day 2: Eastern Colorado and Kansas
Had cruise control going. Needed snooze control. Whole Lotta nothing. Oh look, there's a tree. Look there's a silo. Finally stopped in Topeka. Now I can say I've been to Kansas. And they're right. There's no place like home.

Day 3: Lawrence, Kansas City, and Western Misery
Looked around Univ. Of Kansas, had some KC barbecue. Misery at least has more scenery. Now at Fayetteville visiting the granddaughter. Back to Texas after Halloween.

I think Apple still beat Wall Street estimates for it's revenue and earnings. Cut their losses down a bit, it looks like. Might have been worse, but Apple manages to stay ahead of the game pretty well.

Yeah, seems they are impervious to the massive swings. Taiwan and/or china trouble might be the only thing that could shake them :noidea:

They've already been moving "some" iPhone/iPad production from mainland China to Vietnam and some might possibly go to Thailand and other Asian countries as well.

Time will tell... :noidea:

You're gonna like this...The shelter that I got Darbie from works with a local Vet, so you get a free checkup on any pet you adopt.

Darbie had his appointment yesterday.

We walk in and the whole staff is at the front desk and they ask "Is this Darbie?" I said "Yes".

They ask "He's the one with the little fangs, right?" I said "Yes".

They all start telling me how happy they are for him, they were really cheering for him to get a home, etc.. They love his little fangs so much, a couple of their computers had him as their screensaver. lol
