This week is a bit harder than last week if those lines hold. If I had to pick now I'd go against the fav - points in half of them. And don't even get me started on picking the UW game.

I haven't looked into any of them in depth yet. I really don't even consider the spread much when I'm making my picks. Last week was just an obvious week. The favorites were much better teams.

UW vs. Oregon State is an interesting one. Power Ratings have them very close. It's in Seattle so UW should be a slight favorite and that's where the line is. That Beavs secondary vs. the Huskies passing attack is going to be the best matchup of the week.
 
FWIW, UW should have their preferred starting secondary Friday for the first time since game 1 this season. They've battled 7 injuries over that span that left their entire back end mostly with freshmen and kids not ready. The bye came at the right time to get even more back after one of their main corners made it back for the Cal game. Getting the two safeties back is huge.

It could/should also mark the first game this year for their outstanding LB Ulofoshio who has been out injured since last winter. He's been in full practice, but considered day to day. They hope to get some reps on him vs OSU to at least knock the rust off before Oregon. He's a huge upgrade in the run D when healthy, but we will see what he looks like with all of that time off.

As much as everyone wants to see Penix vs their corners, I'll be paying more attention to their run game vs a mostly healthy UW D for the first time this year.

NCAA investigation killed ASUs recruiting momentum
 
Week 11 Lines:

Colorado at USC (-34)
Arizona State at Washington State (-9)
Washington at Oregon (-12.5)
California at Oregon State (-13.5)
Stanford at Utah (-23)
Arizona at UCLA (-19.5)
 
Colorado currently ranks 129th in scoring offense (15.6 PPG) and 130th in scoring defense (40.2 PPG). They're averaging 4.7 yards per play and their defense is giving up 6.9 yards per play. 7 of their 8 losses were by 20+ points (Arizona State beat them by 8), four by 30+. They've been outgained by 2+ yards per play in every game except for the Cal game (whom they outgained 4.8 to 4.0 yards per play). They have an SRS of -12.11, good for 121st in the country. The only Colorado football team with a lower SRS was the 2012 squad that went 1-11 and got outscored by an average of 28.2 PPG.
 
PAC 12 should be concerned about visibility.

I found this article interesting. Especially this about Amazon.

"For the moment, Amazon has let it be known it is only doing business with must-see, premium live sports television properties, namely the NFL.

"[Amazon has] no interest in bad games," one industry source said."

I'm guessing by "bad games" they mean games involving the non big names. Thoughts?

heres my favorite part

Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren kept advocating for adding California, Oregon, Stanford and Washington in expansion.

Not only are those schools not worth the $75 million per year Big Ten schools got in their new media rights deal, the likes of Purdue, Minnesota and Indiana pushed back against further expansion.

you telling me those schools are worth the 75mil more so than Oregon Washington and or Stanford?

I’ve said ever since this realignment started that many “charter members” withdraw a hell of a lot more than they deposit…at least as far as the athletic revenue goes. BUT, when you consider research dollars, it seems the real athletic money are willing to tolerate them.
