Michigan-Michigan State tunnel brawl

I can’t find the tweet with a poor quality video, but apparently Michigan State players were salty at some Michigan players for going to the locker room early.

And it looks like they started beating a Michigan player with their helmets.

Michigan State players have been suspended

Michigan player that was attacked is pressing charges(which I think is a 10 ply, tattletale move)

Nope, the victim should press charges and the perps need jail time.

"This shit happens EVERY year between these too. Shit talking wasn't invented last week. Its always been bad between these too. If you want to talk shit, that's fine."

Yet Harbaugh and staff didn't think to pre-empt (prior to the game) their players from going to the Sparty sideline talking shit and getting in people's faces after the game.

Harbaugh and staff didn't think to tell their players to stay outta the tunnel and let Sparty get to their locker room first after the game.

The Michigan players got their trophy and were headed to the corner to celebrate with fans.
Oh wait, not all of them. A few decided to go to the Sparty sideline instead, talk shit, and get into people's faces.

Instead of celebrating with the team and fans in the corner, they then decided to take their bullshit into the tunnel as Sparty was exiting.

I agree when its a 1 on 1 mutual fight. If its 5 or 6 beating on 1, the cops need to be called.
I think every act of violence should be reported so that it's on the perp's record if it happens again. I learned that shit a long time ago. No mercy on violence.

I've got no bias in the situation, you do.

I'm just calling it as I see it. Why does Harbaugh and staff have to be over on the Sparty sideline pulling their players back?
What would you expect them to do? Just stand there?

Nah. This is the only sports related brawl I remember the police being involved in. Never call the law over a fight
Does it happen frequently? No. But there have been instances before. There was a really ugly fight that broke out between Ohio St and Minnesota back in the 70s. Police were involved

The fact that you can only provide examples from the Big Slow is telling and is a big reason why it’s a second rate conference

I didn't see you on the field. I wish you would have pointed yourself out in those clips I would have liked to have seen that. Otherwise, how do you know what players were told before/after the game?

Just a moment ago you were criticizing the coaching staff for going over to get their players off the sideline.

Preempt it.

You yourself said everybody expects there to be trash talk and getting into people's faces in this game.

As HC you set a zero tolerance on the behavior all week in practice. Cause an incident and you'll be suspended.

Georgia played Florida on Saturday. Florida is UGA’s biggest rival. Georgia won easily. Players talked shit.

Florida didn’t attack any UGA players because they knew they’d get that ass whipped
One time Lou Holtz though he can run his flubber gums just because he was about to retire

Let's just say we haven't had a problem with SC since :nono:

You seem to forget about Miss St (an SEC school) and Tulsa in 2020. But they didn't know the Civil War was over yet so they get a pass

How do you know what was said?

I know what they're being told after getting into peoples faces on Sparty sideline, talking shit on Sparty sideline, and following Sparty into the tunnel toward their locker room.

"You're victims"
