How Bad Is aTm?

Seen a stat in their game against Florida that I hadn’t seen yet. A&M has played 22 true Freshman this year for various reasons.

That right there is why they are struggling so much and… Auburn should beat em TBH.

Jimbo grasping at straws.

I hope they grew up in the last week. Florida says, "What? They grown?"

not sure if y'all are keeping up with what's going on but it's gotten much worse than I realized as of now.

Apparently Hill already was planning on decommitting prior to his visit there this past weekend, however he was still open to hold off. Well players inside were telling him to get out while he can, they are portaling after the season. That was enough for him to decommit yesterday.

The flu outbreak they have going on is also covering up things for players to just sit out. Looch who runs the PR dept for the athletic program, spins everything, but yesterday he stopped. Said priority #1 was for Jimbo to keep Connor Weigman from entering the portal.

Their '22 class ring leader has also scrubbed his aggy edits off IG, Bobby Taylor.. Then his dad (or step dad) went in on the comments saying Jimbo talked a good game but he doesn't have relationships with the players. Seems that Bobby will be portaling to an HBCU school after the season.

Looch also mentioned that Hicks their 5 star DL commit, Bravion Rodgers 4 star CB, and Jayvonn Thomas 4 star CB are open now and that the staff has to do everything it can to keep them from decommitting.

Normally it's not as bad as it seems but they have already begun using the flu as an excuse for this week when a lot of the players will not be traveling to Auburn.

As bad as it looks for this class, as of now, unraveling.. the portal is going to hurt them. They don't have a QB commit nor a RB and you can't bank on King or Weigman staying.. and even if they did with their injury history you need to grab another QB.

They have hinted that Jimbo will be looking for an OC and is looking to clean out a lot of the offensive coaches this offseason. Right now it looks bad but who knows if he can circle the wagons.. or it continues to get worse. Natives are unhappy this is going on in year 5, but no matter what they are stuck with him.. no one is going to pay 85 mil after the season to buy him out.

How bad is aTm? They are Oklahoma bad. Switch the two team's conference and non-conference schedules and their records would be what each other's record is now. OU would be 3-6 this year and Texas A&M would be 5-4. And they would looking at more losses this year. Both programs suck right now for whatever reasons are causing it but they better not do it again next year or heads will roll.

You guys got rolled last year and lost your HC, revamped your coaching staff and had a ton of talent leave because of the changes. aTm is in year 5 and had the #1 recruiting class with a healthy QB who was supposed to the guy.

I'd rather be you guys right now (ironically in a way we will be next year).

Auburn doesn't have the talent to beat aTm but Cadillac will give them the heart. His post-game speech and press conference were emotionally charged and the guys that are there are willing to die for him and the coaches also. Zack Etheridge (coach and former player) almost pulled a hamstring Saturday running with Caddie to call a time-out! Those guys are willing to die on the field for those players right now. All anyone is talking about is that we finally feel like Auburn again.

So what happens to all the NIL monies paid or due?

There were three things money couldn't buy. Apparently we can now add a fourth.

The love of a good woman
The smile of a child
A home in Heaven
A National Championship in football

But...but...recruiting class.

I should have used the green font. My aggie neighbor is your typical aggie acolyte. The eternal aggie optimist but never grounded in reality.

Oh nah man, you good. I actually meant to add a very amusing LOL after my post.

You just got to spend it well.

Trust me you can do it.

Ass To Mouth?

It's actually pretty good, depending on which side of the coin you're on, of course.

That isn't a big deal to play 22 true freshmen. Michigan has played 25 true freshmen this year. 10 of the 25 have played so much they burned their redshirt already - that means they have played in more than 4 games. They have 5 more kids who are one more game away from burning their redshirt.

In today's CFP where you can play in 4 games before you burn a redshirt -- The majority of teams are putting in true freshmen to see where they stand and get them experience. If they deem the player can help the team in the current year -- they will burn their red shirt.

Edited to add -- And Michigan has NOWHERE NEAR the talent in their recruiting class that A&M had this past year.
