Alabama hasn't seemed that physical so far. If Alabama is on it, Tennessee is on it. I don't think Alabama should be on it. A good one to replace Alabama from the SEC might be Kentucky.

Big Game Boomer has been missing for awhile

How does one measure that? Because I see teams on there that are softer than a brand-new pillow (I’m looking at you, Oregon)

I don't know what that 15 year old kid used for metrics, but I'd base it on ability to run the ball and the ability to stop an opponents run.

Some (im assuming) boomer pulling shit out of his ass, it looks like

Let's see the top 25 teams with "moxie" and "heart" while we are at it

FSU and Illinois in the top 4.

Cmon. FSU is better. Oline is way improved but I don’t know about physical.

Running the ball I can see. Not sure about the rest

I'd have to say Sparty ... Michigan State takes the battle off the field.

I mean we are a very physical team ... it's a trademark of Smart.

As for Michigan being more physical, we heard that leading up to the Orange Bowl CFP game last year. I'll just leave these here:

Read the above quote by @Sgt Brutus ... I think he nailed it. In the Michigan/Georgia Game last year, Georgia beat us in every way possible. Georgia appears to be the best this year as well.

You gotta be physical up front to stop the run too.

Nebraska's not physical up front on either side of the ball. Their D line gets pushed around like an FCS team.

I'd flop 1 and 2 -- the rest, don't really care. Not many teams are built to play a physical style, but I think it is safe to say Georgia and Michigan are the top 2.

The entire rankings are really on the eye of the beholder. I am not sure what they even mean by more "physical".

My thought is more the type of scheme they play. If that is the case, both Georgia and Michigan belong. I would call Michigan more "physical" based on its play style but that doesn't mean they are going to out physical Georgia.

One stat for why Georgia wouldn't be as "physical" from a playstyle perspective is the fact that Georgia often throws more than runs.

I wouldn't put Tennessee on the list even though part of a HUGE reason Heupel has been successful this year is Tennessee's line has held up well in every game with the exception of the Georgia game.

The Cyclones do play nasty defense, so I like it!
