GAME #5 Tennessee at South Carolina 6:00 ESPN

Is this the largest upset ever? Tennessee was favored by 22 and lost by 25. That's a hell of a swing.
63 is the most points UT has ever given up in an sec game. I'm not sure, but I would imagine this is one of the biggest upsets in Gamecock history-- because there simply aren't that many examples

This is what happens when you deal with kids. Tennessee also just has a way of imploding at worse time. It is like Baseball team last year against Notre Dame. Program is an embarrassment.

Yeah, what I saw with UT last night is what I've seen with UNA all season - a team that just quits when the going gets too rough.

Not sure if it ain't a generational thing, since I see very similar behavior with our local high school football team. Kids these days seem to have an "I quit!" mentality when a challenge seems too great for them.

I didn’t think SCar was capable of scoring 63 points against air.

Vandy is playing for bowl eligibility, Tennessee better show up next week or their best season since the 90’s will turn into another 9-4 Butch Jones ceiling season when all their play makers opt out of the bowl game

2019 against UGA fucker.

Any team giving up 50+ doesn't deserve a playoff spot.
Any team losing by 3 or more scores doesn't deserve a playoff spot.
Any team elevating Rattler to Heisman status after playing him doesn't deserve a playoff spot.

Early on in the season I thought I saw an improved D. Those guys were so close to so many sacks its not even funny, thought they'd get it together. It slowly eroded over the season and then this debacle.

I work with a gameCOCK. He's going to be insufferable. Thankfully I am off for the next few weeks.

Eh

Georgia was only 5 and 0 and proceeded to get murdered in the CCG.

Vols were more likely than not headed to the playoffs if they won out.
Georgia was a 12-2 team that potentially would have clinched a playoff spot before the SECCG without that loss. SCar went 4-8 that year and the game was in Athens

You also are discounting the mental and emotional aspect of college kids. You're assuming Georgia would have went on and won all those games if they were undefeated.

You're trying to retroactively apply this as opposed to last night the stakes being very clear.

Both big upsets but last night..with the stakes more apparent...is the bigger upset imo

I disagree. Worse SCar team facing a higher ranked than this year’s TN team and a bigger Vegas spread on the road >>>

UGA already took the vinegar out of Tennessee this year

I wouldn't expect you to agree

this is the type of shit happens when you're an unbalanced team. no matter how good your offense is you can't expect them to light up the scoreboard every week.
